This week’s episode of The Masked Singer saw Group C hit the stage with four new contestants. When the episode ended, two newcomers had to face off in the Smackdown. Luckily for Lizard, he won out in the Smackdown round. Spaghetti & Meatballs unmasked as restaurateur and MasterChef judge Joe Bastianich. But who is Lizard?
Here is what Lizard sang on The Masked Singer, his clue package, and who we think is under the mask.
Lizard Performs On The Masked Singer
Lizard came out on The Masked Singer this week and performed a Billy Joel song on the night honoring the legendary singer/songwriter. For Lizard, the song was “Uptown Girl.” Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg said he was clearly a “showman” while Rita Ora said he was “tiny.” Lizard was in the bottom two and in the Smackdown round, he and Spaghetti & Meatballs sang “Movin’ Out (Anthony’s Song).”

Were you as pleased as we were that the judges saved the Lizard on the March 20 episode of “The Masked Singer”? We liked this fellow from the moment he strode on stage and blew the roof off the joint with his rollicking rendition of “Uptown Girl” by Billy Joel Seger. So we were beyond pleased when he won the Smackdown against Spaghetti and Meatballs after they duelled on the ditty “Movin’ Out (Anthony’s Song).”
We’ve rewatched both of the performances by the Lizard as well as his clues package. Forget those guesses by the judges that Lizard is Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, Ralph Tresvant or Ray J. We are convinced we’ve cracked the code and know the name of the celebrity masquerading as Lizard. Keep reading as we have all your “The Masked Singer” spoilers, including the answer to the question, “Who is Lizard?”

Caleb McLaughlin first came to fame with his scene-stealing role as Lucas on "Stranger Things," and since then, his star has risen steadily. He appeared as Ricky Bell on BET's "The New Edition Story," Darius in "High Flying Bird," Cole in Netflix's "Concrete Cowboy," and - most recently - as Dru Joyce III in the movie adaptation of Lebron James's story, "Shooting Stars."
With "Concrete Cowboy," McLaughlin proved he can carry his own beside heavy hitters like Idris Elba, while in "Shooting Stars," which premiered on Peacock on June 2, the 21-year-old shows he's taking on Hollywood.
TV and movie acting is not where McLaughlin's talents begin and end. He's also a successful singer and stage-musical actor. While McLaughlin's dating life remains a mystery, there are other aspects of the actor's life that he's been an open book about. So, if you found yourself enthralled by his most...

[Editor’s Note: “Girl, I must warn you…” this review will make liberal use of New Edition, Bobby Brown, and Bell Biv Devoe song titles and lyrics. Why? That’s “My Prerogative.”]
It may seem like a stretch to compare Bet’s “The New Edition Story” to the critically acclaimed biopic “Straight Outta Compton.” After all, N.W.A.’s gangsta rap courted controversy while New Edition’s lyrics only got salty when they accused “Mr. Telephone Man” of a faulty connection. Nevertheless, just as N.W.A. shaped hip-hop, the miniseries gives rightful context to how influential New Edition was on its own. Styled as a New Edition of the Jackson 5, the group perfected the model for all the boy bands to come, including New Kids on the Block, Boyz II Men, ’N Sync, and the Backstreet Boys. They also successfully transitioned from the bubble gum style of their early songs to becoming pioneers of New Jack Swing.

As with N.W.A., the drama of just being in New Edition is part of the story’s trainwreck/bootstrap appeal.

It's only been a week since Beyoncé dropped her frenetic "Countdown" video, but she's already gearing up to hit the eject button on another clip from her 4 album. Some fans got their first taste of "Love on Top" when B debuted it (along with that baby bump!) at the 2011 MTV VMAs. But while she gave the retro-leaning track the doo-wop treatment, sporting a sequined Dolce & Gabbana blazer at the show, she'll revisit another musical era for the video.
New Edition's '80s smash "If It Isn't Love" is the clear inspiration in the 82-second tease of Beyoncé's video. And although the superstar has been doing damage control over claims she referenced another...

New Edition are fast approaching 30 years in the music biz, and the Boston boys have a ton of memories since dropping their debut album, Candy Girl, in 1983.
For Johnny Gill, his favorite came in 1990 when Ne reunited on the MTV Video Music Awards; for Ralph Tresvant, his best memory came after hearing the group's song on the radio for the first time. Ricky Bell, nodded in agreement, but then recalled another special time — meeting the King of Pop.
"I guess Ralph took my number one, but number two would probably be meeting Michael Jackson, being invited to his house. Going to the mansion and seeing him skip down the stairs," Bell told MTV News before the group performed at DJ Cassidy's 30th birthday party...

New Orleans — Don't let the fancy footwork fool you: Bobby Brown says it took him two years to get back enough "muscle memory" to pull off the smoove moves that earned his group, New Edition, a permanent place in the annals of boy bands.
Ok, maybe not two years, but Brown — whose shirtless onstage dancing once got him arrested, during his '90s heyday, in the state of Georgia — admitted it took some time when we caught up with him and his bandmates at last weekend's 2011 Essence Music Festival.
"It didn't take two years, but it took a little while to get back into, you know, not moving the way I used to move and get the steps and start dancing back...

After 30 years of albums, turmoil and solo projects, New Edition is finally reuniting July 3 at the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans. The last time all six members of the group stood harmoniously onstage was in 1996 for the release of their album Home Again. The group has tried to reunite several times in the past, but conflict and erratic behavior by notorious singer Bobby Brown has hindered a successful comeback. Yet, Brown insists the past is behind the group. "We're just working on us and our friendship," he tells People. Along with fellow members Johnny Gill, Ralph Tresvant, Michael Bivins,...

Sure, Old Edition might be a better name at this point, but never mind the haters—'80s R&B supergroup New Edition announced today that they are reuniting in celebration of their 30th anniversary as a group. Along for the ride are Bobby Brown, Johnny Gill, Bell, Biv, and, of course, DeVoe. Plus, uh, that other guy. So what's the plan for their long-teased reunion? Of all the late night hosts, nobody — not even Conan O'Brien — is as playful as Jimmy Fallon. The host of "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" has carved out his own little corner of the late night universe, appealing to a particular brand of pop culture awareness and nostalgia. That love of junk culture from a particular era (mostly the early '90s) has inspired Fallon to stage reunions of the casts of "Saved By the Bell" and "California Dreams" as well as a number of music acts from the era. Such was the case on Wednesday night (February 23) when Bel Biv Devoe took the stage at 30 Rock to tear into their classic single "Poison."
Though Bel Biv Devoe (made up of Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins and Ronnie DeVoe, all of whom were members of New Edition) have been relatively active over the past decade, they last released an album in...
