Have you seen Wynonna Judd lately? She’s always been a big girl, but as of March of this year her weight was at an all-time high. Then she had two serious health incidents starting in March, and although the issues at hand were unrelated to her weight (one was a car accident and the other was a blood clot in her lung), she said she was frightened into wanting to live the healthiest life possible, and she cleaned out her pantry and started walking the talk.
As of now, she’s lost 55 pounds and dropped five dress sizes, and is looking pretty happy and energetic. She said she’s enjoying being lighter not because of the way it looks, but because she can now get through the day without feeling exhausted from carrying all that extra body weight around.

'Go For it, Sarah Palin!" writes The Etceterist.
And who is the anonymous Etceterist? He is an astute blogger with Vogue connections, I'm told.
Here is something this writer has to say on Wowowow.com in defense of the aspiring Gop vice presidential candidate and the $150,000 said to have been spent on her campaign wardrobe. (I paraphrase for emphasis.):
"These revelations could actually be a wonderful thing for the world of American fashion, especially at a time when consumer confidence is waning.
"Americans maintain a very ambiguous relationship to fashion. We want it, we revere it on reality...

Richard Blackwell, known for his long-running "Worst-Dressed Women" list, has died at the age of 86. According to The Los Angeles Times, the commentator was of failing health for some time and passed away on Sunday due to complications from an infection. Music icons, movie stars and even The Queen featured on his caustic critique, which ran for 48 years and used Mr. Blackwell as its calling card. Britney Spears and Paris Hilton were recently compared to "two peas in an overexposed pod", while Camilla Parker-Bowles was termed "The (more)...

Richard Blackwell – the self-important bad boy of fashion whose nearly five decades' worth of annual Worst-Dressed Lists could be counted upon to provide some of the meanest laughs of every new year – died Sunday of complications from an intestinal infection, said publicist Harlan Boll. Blackwell was 86. Snide, sardonic and unrepentantly punny, Blackwell's Lists – like "Mr. Blackwell," as he always called himself – once inspired annual Hollywood target Zsa Zsa Gabor to hire him to design her an outfit. In one of his final assaults, in January 2007, Blackwell took aim at Britney Spears and Paris Hilton (who, coincidentally, just happens to be...
