Check out 3 new posters from That Burning Feeling, starring Paul Costanzo, Ingrid Haas, Tyler Labine and John Cho. The film directed and written by Jason James follows Adam Murphy (Costanzo) who had it all: a great job, an endless parade of gorgeous women, and the charm to make it all look well-earned. One night, he went to bed with everything he ever wanted and woke up with something no-one ever wants... That Burning Feeling. The cast also features Julia Benson, Ingrid Haas, Carrie Fleming, Jay Brazeau, Dalila Bela and Chris Britton. Kristen Smith, Nick Citton and James produce.

Films dealing with demonic possession and exorcisms seem to always be popular with Hollywood ever since the success of The Exorcist. The past several years especially, they have been churned out one after the other with varying degrees of success. The Possession comes to us from Ghost House Pictures which is Sam Raimi’s production company, so I had high hopes for this film based on his association with the film alone. Chicago – A film marketing itself as being “based on a true story” doesn’t hold the same teeth it once did. With truly original stories a financial high risk for Hollywood and many films leaning toward being based on a best-selling novel, the genre that is based on a true story or “inspired by true events” has increasingly taken creative liberties.
Rating: 2.0/5.0
Beware, filmgoers. Just a nugget of truth doesn’t amount to a true gold rush. In the case of the new horror film “The Possession,” the only validity to this film’s claim of being based on a true story is that there was indeed a well-reported dybbuk box (also commonly spelled dibbuk). The story involved real people trying to offload it on eBay once it allegedly haunted them.
Today, most horror films claiming real-life truth aren’t really based on a true story or much of one.

At the first look, it's very easy to loathe Lynne Stopkewich's Kissed. In fact, the production value is a little bit questionable and the execution slightly lacks energy. However, Kissed's technical flaws can be overlooked in the long run because of its script's depth.
Ever since she was young, Sandra Larson (Natasha Morley) has tried to understand what death is. As time goes by, her romantic ideals about death grow into necrophilia. Now that Sandra (Molly Parker) is an adult, she decides to study embalming for the pleasure of being around dead bodies of men. Then enters Matt (Peter Outerbridge), a medicine student who is her first love ever and also a person with whom she's opened about her necrophilia. However, Matt's growing obsession for Sandra eventually makes him see that he can never be loved by her as much as dead men.

CBS' murder mystery Harper's Island came to a close on Saturday night after a crazy and horrific season. Will it be back for another round?
Harper's Island tells the story of a group of family and friends who gather on an island for a wedding. One by one, the guests are murdered by a mysterious killer. The cast includes Elaine Cassidy, Christopher Gorham, Katie Cassidy, Cameron Richardson, Adam Campbell, Richard Burgi, Jim Beaver, C.J. Thomason, Victor Webster, Jay Brazeau, Dean Chekvala, Matt Barr, and Harry Hamlin.
The show debuted on Thursday, April 9th and won the timeslot in total viewership (10.49 million) but was second in the 18-49 demographic with a 2.7/8 rating/share. Unfortunately, that represented a huge loss from its CSI lead-in. Many viewers also tuned out before the first episode of Harper's Island was over.

CBS has announced that they're pulling Harper's Island series from its high-profile, post-csi timeslot and sending it to a primetime deathslot. However, the network contends that the move doesn't diminish their faith in the series.
Harper's Island revolves around a group of family and friends who come together for a wedding on a secluded island. Before the nuptials can commence the wedding guests are slain, one by one, by a mysterious killer. The show's ensemble cast includes Elaine Cassidy, Christopher Gorham, Katie Cassidy, Cameron Richardson, Adam Campbell, Richard Burgi, Jim Beaver, C.J. Thomason, Victor Webster, Jay Brazeau, Dean Chekvala, Matt Barr, and Harry Hamlin.
The premiere of Harper's aired on April 9th, opposite NBC's new Southland series. The show won the timeslot in total viewership (10.49 million) but was second in the 18-49 demographic with a 2.7/8 rating/share. However, when you look a little closer, those numbers aren't as positive as one might think.
