In the on-demand era, watching a movie, even a short one, can take hours. In the theater or on TV, the movie cannot be paused, so the most dedicated viewers used to have to go back to the theater to see the same movie over and over again or record the TV broadcast. Now it is enough to buy a movie or watch it online on streaming services.
Therefore, fans who prefer to analyze in depth what is happening on the screen, as well as to understand the most subtle Easter eggs and homages, feel more than satisfied in today's reality! With that in mind, let's talk about the most paused scenes in the movies you all know and love.

The upcoming summer release of Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, which stars Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Hemsworth, is the next entry in George Miller and Byron Kennedy’s post-apocalyptic action film series Mad Max. Mad Max: Fury Road, which won an Oscar, Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome, and The Road Warrior were the three subsequent flicks in the series after the 1979 release of the first movie.
However, it seems Taylor-Joy’s work on Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga didn’t attract as much attention as her covert marriage to Malcolm McRae, which took everyone by surprise. But now, it seems like the actress, 28, is making up for lost time with the perfect gift for her beloved husband after wrapping up filming for Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.

Jeopardy! contestants have shared some interesting anecdotes over the past 60 years, including Austin Rogers meeting the Dalai Lama and Meike Olin dating five men in one day. However, Ferdinand Percentie’s personal tale on Monday’s (April 29) episode is going to take some beating. And fans are wondering if it was the best anecdote ever. As reported by The Mirror, during the show’s anecdote section, Percentie revealed to host Ken Jennings that his grandmother inspired the hit Jimmy Buffett song “Cheeseburger in Paradise.” Percentie said his family comes from a small island in the Bahamas, Harbor Island, and “According to family lore, Jimmy Buffett came to the hotel/restaurant my grandma founded and [he] had a cheeseburger there. That was his inspiration to write Cheeseburger in Paradise.” Jennings was impressed, telling Percentie, “Your grandmother’s cheeseburgers were so good that he wrote a hit song about them. That is amazing.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has revealed the names of 16 artistes who will be inducted in 2024. According to ‘Variety’, the diverse list includes R&b/rock pioneer Big Mama Thornton, pop superstars Cher and Dionne Warwick, as well as 1970s-rooted rockers like Peter Frampton, Foreigner, and Ozzy Osbourne, alongside 1990s icons such as the Dave Matthews Band and Mary J. Blige.
Jimmy Buffett’s inclusion among the inductees comes as a surprise. His entry is unexpected not only because the late singer/songwriter was not on the ballot this year but also because he had never been nominated before.

During a speech leading into her cover performance of “Come Monday,” Carlile revealed that she bonded with Buffett over their shared love of fishing. “I could call Jimmy up, it didn’t matter where I was, and he’d have some salty dog captain come out and pick me up and take me fishing — even if he couldn’t be there — off the drop-off, off of Anegada, or in the Gulf,” she said.

The already tough will soon get tougher.
Parking at the Hollywood Bowl is already a limited hodge-podge, but the venue is cutting back even more on available parking options for the start of its season on April 11.
The outdoor amphitheater mandates that concertgoers can no longer park in Lots B and C, which will be transformed into transportation hubs. The lots are located on opposite sides of North Highland Avenue.
The hubs are to “streamline rideshare, bus, and shuttle traffic,” reports the Los Angeles Times.
Lot B will still be available for Ada Accessible parking. Lot C will be used just for rideshares. The Bowl’s seating capacity is 17,500, and estimates indicate that more than 300 parking spaces will vanish with the changes.
The L.A. Phil’s Interim CEO Daniel Song told the Times that the move was meant to manage traffic around the venue during events.

Having released over 30 albums and sold over 20 million records worldwide, Jimmy Buffett is among the world’s best-selling music artists. Director Paul Dale and co-writer Dylan McGovern have opted to base a horror-comedy around the tropical rocker, with the opening text describing Murdaritaville as “a weird love letter” to Buffett and his music.
The story opens in 1993, as a couple drive from a Buffett concert when they pick up another fellow fan. As the car journey leads to an argument, it all comes to a tragic end as an unseen creature commits murder. 30 years later, a group of friends are brought together for a Jimmy Buffett impersonator contest, although their fun time is threatened by a murderous parrot man who attacks...

You probably cringe at the thought of hearing about a movie from a group of comedians coming out with a slasher film, right? Well, let me just say that horror comedies weren’t typically prevalent back when horror had the Carpenters, Cravens, Romeros, and Cronenbergs slashing about in Hollywood. Everything was serious in tone and brought the stuff made of nightmares. You had your infamous slasher icons like Michael, Freddy, Jason, and even Chucky. You also had horror movie monsters like The Thing, The Great White Shark from Jaws, Brundlefly, Godzilla, and even Tremors. But then, as we entered a new millennium, Horror started to ease up on the tension and seriousness, in exchange for some quick wit and laughs. Horror brought in a new style into its genre with comedic undertones which was a great opening for some new films in the pipeline to help branch horror into unfamiliar territory.

Equal Strain on All Parts, the 31st and final album from the late Jimmy Buffett, is out now.
Comprising 11 originals and three covers, Equal Strain on All Parts is a fitting final entry in Buffett’s studio catalog. It features an array of collaborators including Paul McCartney, Emmylou Harris, Angelique Kidjo, and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band.
Naturally, Equal Strain is a mostly lighthearted record, its title inspired by Buffett’s grandfather’s description of a good nap. With a tracklist including song names like “Fish Porn,” “My Gummie Just Kicked In,” “University of Bourbon Street,” and “Nobody Works on Friday,” it encapsulates the most important tenet in Buffett’s artistry: Having a good time.
Pre-orders for Equal Strain on All Parts are ongoing. Stream the record via Apple Music and Spotify below.
Buffett died this past September at the age of 76 after a prolonged battle with skin cancer and lymphoma.

When Jimmy Buffett died on September 1, he left a finished album in the can ready for release. Equal Strain on All Parts, his 32nd LP, is every bit the laidback, eclectic, inviting set of tunes you’d expect from the beloved singer-songwriter, bridging pop, country, and rock & roll, mixing island sounds and down-home vibes, and balancing five-o’clock-somewhere good times with gentle life wisdom.
The casually rocking “My Gummie Just Kicked In,” was inspired by something Paul McCartney’s wife Nancy Shevell said to Buffett at a dinner party, and features McCartney on bass.

Before his death, Jimmy Buffett put his distinct spin on one of the most Buffett-esque songs Bob Dylan ever wrote, “Mozambique,” even enlisting Emmylou Harris — who sang backup on the original — to reprise her role. The cover will appear on the upcoming posthumous Buffett album, Equal Strain on All Parts, out Nov. 3.
Dylan’s original, off 1976’s Desire, is plenty jaunty and sun-soaked on its own, though not without some ramshackle touches. Buffett and Harris keep that original energy while smoothing out some of the edges, most notably substituting the...

It looked like a typical U2 outdoor concert: Two helicopters zoomed through the starlit sky before producing spotlights over a Las Vegas desert and frontman Bono, who kneeled to the ground while singing the band’s 2004 hit “Vertigo”.
This scene may seem customary, but the visuals were created by floor-to-ceiling graphics inside the immersive Sphere. It was one of the several impressive moments during U2’s “Uv Achtung Baby” residency launch show at the high-tech, globe-shaped venue, which opened for the first time Friday night.
The legendary rock band, which has won 22 Grammys, performed for two hours inside the massive, state-of-the-art spherical venue with crystal-clear audio. Throughout the night, there were a plethora of attractive visuals — including kaleidoscope images, a burning flag and Las Vegas’ skyline, taking the more than 18,000 attendees on U2’s epic musical journey.
