William Beaudine, the human assembly line behind a warehouse full of movies that included Voodoo Man and Bowery Buckeroos, hauls John Carradine onto an over-lit and under-budget stage for another shot at the Count in Billy the Kid Vs. Dracula.
In 1966 Beaudine was very near the end of his career but Carradine reigned for three more decades, giving him ample time for reflection: “I have worked in a dozen of the greatest, and I have worked in a dozen of the worst. I only regret Billy the Kid Vs. Dracula. Otherwise, I regret nothing.”

(Cbr) Warning: This story contains spoilers for recent episodes of Fox’s "The Following". FBI Agent Mike Weston finally has been pushed too far. Over the course of Fox’s intense thriller "The Following", he and former agent Ryan Hardy (Kevin Bacon) have witnessed disturbing violence and gruesome deaths at the hands of psychopathic killer Joe Carroll (James Purefoy) and his minions. However, with the recent episode “Sacrifice,” those actions truly hit home. Spurned Carroll supporter Lily (Connie Nielsen) visited Mike’s father and gleefully ordered her sadistic son Mark (Sam Underwood) to slit his throat. The horrifying act was captured on video and sent to Mike to watch. Now the devastated agent, played by Shawn Ashmore, has just one thing on his mind: revenge. Best known for portraying Iceman in the X-Men movie franchise, Ashmore spoke with Spinoff Online by phone from "The Following’s" New York City set about murder,...

Trailers From Hell welcomes all movies great and small but sometimes a particular trailer may not be up to the visual quality of the rest of our catalog or is simply too oddball to present in our usual format. Nevertheless, there’s such a wealth of exciting, strange and unusual films out there, we’d be remiss not to call attention to them. We’re happy to present the Tfh Misfits.
Directed by the legendarily speedy director, William (One-Shot) Beaudine, 1966′s Billy the Kid Vs Dracula and Jesse James Meets Frankenstein’s Daughter were almost certainly pre-manufactured by producer Carroll Case as a double-bill to appeal to both horror and cowboy fans.
Each film featured much the same crew, including cinematographer Lothrop B. Worth (I Was a Teenage Frankenstein and TV’s I Dream of Jeannie), and so share the same rushed, low rent vibe. As usual, the one true star to be found here,...

Deadline reports "The Following" creator and executive producer Kevin Williamson was obliged to defend the jarring level of sex and violence (particularly violence) in his new Fox horror thriller as the network kicked off its day at TCA this morning. Critics peppered Williamson with questions about whether television shows like this one may be part of the problem with society.
“I think we all worry about [the violence issue],” Williamson admitted. “Who wasn’t affected by Sandy Hook? We [sat] in the writers room after that and were all traumatized by it. I know that when I put pen to paper, it affects me, but I’m not sure how,...

Midseason can't here soon enough so we can finally check out Fox's new show from Kevin Williamson, "The Following", but in the meantime we'll have to make do with some casting news. Annie Parisse ("Person of Interest", "Rubicon", "Law & Order") has landed a series regular role on the thriller, playing an FBI cult specialist.
Per EW, Parisse's character is being brought in to lead the investigation into serial killer Joe Carroll (James Purefoy) and his demented followers. The character is considered super smart with a good sense of humor and is not above using her sex appeal if necessary. She’ll be working with an FBI outcast (Kevin Bacon) who’s brought back on duty after Carroll escapes.

One of our Comic-Con 2012 highlights was the opportunity to chat with the cast and creators of Fox's upcoming series "The Following". Even though only the pilot has been filmed so far, they all provided us with some thoughtful insights into the show.
First we spoke with creator/executive producer Kevin Williamson, who has been working on the project in one form or another for over 16 years. While he wants "The Following" to be gripping and leave audiences breathless, it has a love story at the root of it.
Joe Carroll, the serial killer at the center of the show, has a bit of an obsession with Edgar Allan Poe - Poe's romanticism holds great appeal for him - and every week is like a different chapter in the book Carroll is writing. Bacon's character (retired FBI agent Ryan Hardy, who is called back in after Carroll escapes from prison...

We're pretty excited to see Kevin Williamson's new TV project, "The Following", and from the sound of things he's just as excited for us to see it! Read on for a few more details of what we can expect.
During a recent interview with IGN, Williamson shared the following info on the series, which is heading to Fox at midseason, airing on Monday nights:
Regarding his inspiration for the show, Williamson said, "Well, I had the story - I was working on it 16 or 17 years ago. I was writing Scream, and this idea came to me at the same time. I put it in a box and didn’t deal with it until now. So I had tried to develop it as a series before, then I tried to develop it as a feature film, then I tried to develop it as a graphic novel -- nothing quite worked.

It’s that time of year, and the networks are revealing their schedules for fall. Fox is always an interesting network when it comes to the upfront season, because they usually don’t have a lot of changes, but they often have fascinating (if doomed) series on the horizon.
The full schedule is below, as are breakdowns of the specific shows, along with trailers, and I want to make sure to point out that they are likely to expire very soon, so you want to catch them while you can.
The really big news for fall is that Glee is moving. The not so big news is that mid-week primetime is still going to be taken over by reality shows. Good news, though not quite news at this point, is that fans of Bones and Fringe are going to get more of their favorite shows, despite the fact that both...
