- Awarded $15.6 million in a lawsuit because Nestlé used his photo on the Taster's Choice coffee label for a number of years without paying him.
- His face appeared on jars of Taster's Choice Instant Coffee from 1987 until 2003. Although he posed for the picture in 1987, but was unaware that his image was used until he stumbled across a jar in a grocery store in 2003.
- Is the model on the front of the "Taster's Choice" coffee jars. In fact, he recently (as of February 2005) won a settlement for over $15 million for not having been paid for the use of his likeness since 1986.
- His $15.6 million judgment against Nestle was reversed by the California Court of Appeal on June 29, 2007.
- Has since retired from modeling and showbiz, he now resides in San Francisco and teaches kindergarten school.
