Catherine Crier was born on November 6, 1954 in Dallas, Texas, USA. She is an actress and writer, known for Man of the Year (2006), CNN & Company (1992) and Spinning Into Butter (2007). She has been married to Christopher Wilson since October 8, 1994. She was previously married to Michael Barrett.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and
international affairs from the University of Texas and her law degree
from Southern Methodist University School of Law.
In 1984, Crier became the youngest elected state judge in Texas
history.
Crier was awarded an Emmy in 1996 for outstanding investigative
journalism for her piece "The Predators" which examined nursing home
abuse.
