- Claes Eriksson was born on July 27, 1950 in Trollhättan, Västra Götalands län, Sweden. He is a writer and actor, known for Macken (1986), Den enskilde medborgaren (2006) and Leif (1987).
- Originally a member of the comedy group "Galenskaparna".
- Although being a successful composer, he claims he neither can sing nor write notes properly.
- Anders Eriksson is Claes' six year younger brother.
- In 1995, he wrote new Swedish lyrics for the French song "C'est si bon" (written in 1947 by Henri Betti and André Hornez) for the album "Lyckad Nedfrysning Av Herr Moro" recorded by Galenskaparna och After Shave. The title song became "Direktör". The original Swedish lyrics were written by Gösta Rybrant in 1950.
