After learning the untimely death of his wife was not accidental, a former CIA Station Chief is forced back into the espionage underworld in Eastern Europe, teaming up with an adversary to unravel a conspiracy that challenges everything he thought he knew. Bengaluru, April 15 (Ians) Star Indian cricketer Virat Kohli, who played a match-winning knock in Royal Challengers Bangalore’s 23-run win over Delhi Capitals in an Ipl 2023 match on Saturday, said that he is very happy with the two points as it was crucial to bounce back after last losses in their last two matches.
Virat Kohli sparkled with the bat with a breezy 50 off 34 balls to help Rcb post a competitive 174/6. Vijaykumar Vyshak then impressed on debut with a brilliant spell of 3-20 and along with Mohammed Siraj 2-23 helped Rcb restrict DC to 151/9 in 20 overs at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, here on Saturday.

Shudder and IFC Midnight are launching microbudget Skinamarink on a not-so-micro 629 screens, giving the viral horror pic a major push after a well-received premiere back at Fantasia-fest that just kept snowballing with strong reviews and social media love.
“I was over the moon. For a horror filmmaker in Canada, [Fantasia] is like getting a Cannes screening,” says first-time filmmaker Kyle Edward Ball about the leadup to this weekend’s buzzy specialty opening. He shot the 15k feature at his parents’ home in Edmonton, Canada.
In it, two children wake up in the middle of the night to find their father is missing and all the windows and doors in their home have vanished. “I’d had a nightmare when I was little. I was in my parents’ house, my parents were missing, and there was a monster. And lots of people have shared this exact same dream,” Ball tells Deadline.

"Hell shall come to Earth." Samuel Goldwyn Films has released the full trailer for a sci-fi horror film called The Devil Conspiracy, which is set to hit theaters in mid-January. They're hoping this one will be one of the big horror releases in January, since it's always that time of the year when not-that-great movies can end up becoming hits. The plot involves a biotech company creating a technique to clone the greatest minds and figures from history. However, the company is run by a cabal of Satanists whose ultimate goal is to resurrect Lucifer himself. They plan to do this by offering up Jesus once they've cloned him from a sample of his DNA found on his shroud. Let the religious battles ensue. The film stars Alice Orr-Ewing, Joe Doyle, Eveline Hall, Peter Mensah, Joe Anderson, Brian Caspe, and James Faulkner. This looks so hyper-stylized, with so many epic...

"Do whatever it takes." Saban Films has revealed a trailer for an indie action thriller titled Repeater, from action director R. Ellis Frazier. Unfortunately this isn't a time loop sci-fi, it's one of these dime-a-dozen trash action films they're dropping all the time these days. "Find. Kill. Repeat." For hit man Smith, these are the only words to live by. But a botched job forces him to take a high-stakes open contract arranged by his handler. Smith's latest target? The hacker-activist Rousseau, who has run afoul of corrupt corporations and powerful men like Silver. In the border towns of Mexico, Smith confronts local gangs, competing contract killers Botha and Sykes, and a crisis of conscience with deadly consequences. The film stars Paul Sidhu, Kristanna Loken, Nick Moran, James Faulkner, with Corbin Bernsen and Gary Daniels. Ugh this looks as generic and as forgettable as they come, everything is so derivative and uninteresting.

Melbourne, Oct 24 (Ians) Former India skipper Virat Kohli would certainly have left Pakistani fans in a daze and the Indian cricket aficionados celebrating Diwali a day earlier with his unbeaten 82-run knock at the packed Melbourne Cricket Ground on Sunday.
No words are enough to describe the feat and the cricketer himself indicated he was amazed by what he had achieved. Kohli has been one of the best chase masters across the five T20 World Cup campaigns he has been part of, scoring 541 runs at a strike rate of 135.92.
Dismissed only twice in his 10 knocks, the 33-year-old’s latest match-winning effort means his average has soared to a mindboggling 270.50. Outside of a 2 not out against Scotland coming in at the end of their winning chase in 2021, Kohli’s lowest score is 23 (27 balls) in Nagpur back in 2016.

Hounded, also released as Hunted outside the UK, is the latest cinematic variation on The Most Dangerous Game. It takes elements from films like Don’t Breathe, Nefarious, and Turkey Shoot then adds the very upper-class British tradition of fox hunting. The result is a not-so-subtle survival horror metaphor for class warfare.
Leon and his brother Chaz along with their partners Vix and Tod have a good racket going on. Gregory, the local antique dealer hires them to rob his own customers. It’s good money for a quick in and out, grabbing the one item of value he wants.
Having made enough to send Chaz to college, Leon is ready to retire. The others however want one more job to set themselves up.

One of this year’s most engaging British horror films, a hit at Frightfest and due to be released in digital formats on Halloween, Hounded is the story of a group of young, working class London thieves commissioned to go out into the countryside and steal from the rich. It boasts some great performances, especially from Malachi Pullar-Latchman and Hannah Traylen, and it feels very topical in its approach to class politics. On only their second job, the thieves find themselves set up, and they’re dumped in a field in order to be hunted by red-coated aristocrats with a pack of hounds. Whilst films about the hunting of humans are not exactly new, director Tommy Boulding successfully sells us the idea that this is a whole new world for his young protagonists, and he’s full of praise for...

Greg Kinnear has joined the cast of “Sight,” a biopic about pioneering medical entrepreneur Dr. Ming Wang, led by actor Terry Chen.
The Open River Entertainment project has commenced a six-week shoot in Vancouver. The film features a predominantly Chinese cast and will be shot in English and Mandarin. Andrew Hyatt is writing and directing. Darren Moorman of Reserve Entertainment and David Fischer of Open River are producing.

Chen most recently appeared in Viggo Mortensen’s directorial debut, “Falling,” and broke out in a supporting role in Cameron Crowe’s “Almost Famous.

Restoration wit William Congreve opined that music had charms to soothe the savage breast, but in “The Sonata,” it has power to summon the savage beast — you know, the one usually depicted with horns, tail, and a pitchfork. This handsome horror meller set primarily in France benefits considerably from location shooting in cheaper, but picturesque Latvia. It’s Looks 10, Personality 4, however, as director Andrew Desmond and collaborator Arthur Morin’s screenplay doesn’t quite provide enough incident to properly milk its own premise, making for a supernatural thriller that ends just as it’s beginning to work up a sweat.
