Composer and songwriter ("Never My Love"), educated at Miami University, the University of Cincinnati, the American Theatre Wing, and Juilliard. He wrote the stage score for "The Ambassadors". He joined ASCAP in 1956, and his other popular-song compositions include "Every Woman" and "Once Before".
