Jim Goodwin attended school in Portland, Oregon in the 60s and 70s. His
bands rocked high-school dances in that post-vietnam and pre-disco
golden age of rock.
In the 80s, he recorded with the alternative rock band "The Call". It
was during that time he worked with stars Bono, Peter Gabriel, and
others, always hoping for a big breakthrough.
His success came in the world of commercial music. He has written music
scores for independent films, and created themes for Sunny Delight, ABC
Primetime, and Miller Beer. He has recently launched eggchair music,
where he continues making great music.
He is the son of Judge Alfred T. Goodwin of the Ninth Circuit. Judge
Goodwin gained national attention when he ruled the words "Under God"
in the Pledge of Allegiance are unconstitutional.
He attended high school with producer, writer, director Phillip J.
Roth.
