"If he's still alive... get him!!" Signature Entertainment in the UK has revealed an official UK trailer for an action thriller film titled Death Pursuit, also known as Bullet Proof. Both of these titles are generic and unexciting and don't offer any unique insight into what this film is about. A psychotic drug lord and his top hit man pursue the cantankerous thief who made off with his money and his beautiful wife. This Canadian production is described as "a full-throttle action thriller boasting jaw-dropping stunts and featuring action superstar Vinnie Jones." The film's director, James Clayton, plays the thief who pulls off a robbery of a lifetime but ends up with extra baggage. His only chance to escape is to drive. The cast also includes Lina Lecompte, Janvier Katabarwa, Philip Granger, and Gaston Morrison. It looks like more straight-to-vhs action trash right from a bargain bin in the 90s.

Comforting Skin‘s plot synopsis: “a supernatural thriller that follows Koffie, a lonely young woman who’s desperate need for emotional and sexual companionship draws her into a surreal and ultimately destructive relationship with a shifting and whispering tattoo she has willed to life on her skin.”
Damn does this horror movie look good and somehow it “was shot last spring on a budget of roughly $250,000.” I’m impressed.
On the tattoo special effects in Comforting Skin:
That was done through the use of digital animation and compositing techniques, requiring custom code developed by VFX Supervisor Ollie Rankin.
Comforting Skin also stars Eugene Lipinski, Jenn Griffin, Paul Jarrett, Laura Soltis, John Tench, Stephen Lofstrom, Jesai Jayhmes, Nicola Rollet, and Jared Cote.

Title: Tucker and Dale Vs. Evil Studio: Magnet Releasing Directed By: Eli Craig, Morgan Jurgenson Written By: Eli Craig, Morgan Jurgenson Cast: Tyler Labine, Alan Tudyk, Katrina Bowden, Jesse Moss, Philip Granger Screened at: Review, NYC, 7/26/11 Opens: September 30, 2011. VOD on August 26, 2011 If “Tucker and Dale vs. Evil” is not the funniest take-off on slasher movies in decades, then I’d better get out more often—especially to films broadly considered of the horror genre. Unlike the “Scream” series, which simply plays homage to horror conventions by regularly winking at the audience, e.g. the black guy gets killed first, or the girl who answers the phone will die,...

Never heard of this movie before but thanks to Comic Con for highlighting it and to Firstshowing for a great write up, I had a little watch of the trailer and loved it! It’s basically a movie re-imaging Deliverance in a comedy and actually turning the Hill-billies into the good guys! What’s not to like?!
It stars Tyler Labine, Alan Tudyk, Katrina Bowden, Jesse Moss, Philip Granger, Brandon Jay McLaren, Christie Laing, Chelan Simmons and is directed by Eli Craig.
Synopsis: Tucker & Dale Vs Evil is a hilariously gory, good-spirited horror comedy, doing for killer rednecks what Shaun of the Dead did for zombies. Tucker and Dale are two best friends on vacation at their dilapidated mountain house, who are mistaken for murderous backwoods hillbillies by a group of obnoxious, preppy college kids. When one of the students gets separated from her friends, the boys try to lend a hand,...

Eli Craig's new horror/comedy 'Tucker and Dale vs Evil' has a lot of things going for it. A great concept, great actors, '30 Rock' hottie Katrina Bowden and now a fantastic looking new one-sheet. The new Canadian poster (shown below) arrived online along with a extremely hot still of Miss Katrina Bowden which is mistakenly being touted around the web as a 'new' still - which isn't strictly true as its actually been floating around for quite a few months now. But its truly worth posting once again anyway just so you lucky guys can clap your ass hungry eyes on Bowden's perfect figure as she makes her escape in her sexy underwear. Craig helms from a script penned along with Morgan Jurgenson. Tucker and Dale are played by Alan Tudyk and Tyler Labine respectively and they're joined by Jesse Moss, Philip Granger and the gorgeous Chelan Simmons on their hilarious blood-fest.

Maple Pictures, a Canadian film distribution company, has unveiled a newer, bloodier movie poster for Tucker & Dale vs Evil. This title will release on video-on-demand August 26th, before reaching theatres September 30th. This film is really a send up of the whole slasher-in-the-woods genre, with two rednecks acting as the unwilling killers. But dumb is the real murderer. Check out the latest film poster for Tucker & Dale vs Evil, which is very over-the-top like the film itself. A recently released film still is also below.

The Caprica Season 1.5 DVD is out this Tuesday (Dec. 21) and you can still pre-order it on Amazon. NBC has sent out copies for review and the first interesting bits about the commentary tracks come from IGN's Eric Goldman; one about plans to have James Callis and Tricia Helfer appear in the second half of season one, and another about one of the Final Five appearing in season two (if the show hadn't been pulled).
If you haven't seen the last five episodes, the general consensus is that they're the best part of the season. For better or worse, the show got a lot more prequelized and the hour that was cut last year can be felt, especially in the last two episodes, but the storylines, characters, dialogue and everything else stayed as frakking inspired as it always has been. Be warned, though. The finale wraps up the most prominent storylines...
