Her maternal grandfather, Mordecai Wyatt Johnson, was the first African American President of Howard University in Washington D.C.
She restores church organs in New York and New Jersey. She is a lead singer with Swing Town in Maplewood, New Jersey.
Daughter of the late Dr. Carolyn E. Graves and the late Dr. Beverly Graves of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; daughter-in-law of the late Constance J. McQueen and the late Robert McQueen of Sarasota, Florida.
