Conducted the legendary interview with The Sex Pistols in 1976 on the
Today show. The Pistols were swearing and some people felt that he
goaded them during the interview. It is remembered as a landmark in
British TV history.
He initiated 'The Flower of Gloster' series as he was concerned about the neglect and decline of the river canals at that point in time and wanted to spark interest in their potential.
His son, Tim Grundy, was also a radio and television presenter.
