- Ronald Hanmer was born on February 2, 1917 in Reigate, Surrey, England, UK. He was a composer and writer, known for Pet Sematary (2019), Mystery at the Burlesque (1949) and The Year My Voice Broke (1987). He died on May 23, 1994 in Brisbane, Australia.
- Only discovered that his track 'Pastorale' (played by The New Century Orchestra, and conducted by Sidney Torch on FDH Mood Music's release FDH.023) was famous across Australia, for its use as the theme tune to ABC radio serial "Blue Hills", on emigrating there in the 1970s. The series ran for 5795 episodes, from 28th February 1949 to 30th September 1976.
