Paul Seagrave Heckbert is a professor of Computer Science and Robotics
at Carnegie Mellon University. He received his M.S. in Computer Science
from the University of California at Berkeley in May, 1989, with his
thesis "Fundamentals of Texture Mapping and Image Warping," and his Ph.
D. in Computer Science, also from Berkeley, April 1991, with his thesis
"Simulating Global Illumination using Adaptive Meshing."
