Bonnie Holiday is a former porno actress who worked during the 1970s.
She started out in the porn industry in San Francisco by making
"loops", short films shot on 16mm or Super 8 film typically shown in
peep shows. She also earned her keep as an exotic dancer.
It was while plying her trade as a stripper that she met
Annette Haven, whom she would introduce to
the industry and who would surpass her by becoming one of the super
stars of the Golden Age of Porn. Holiday and Haven became lovers,
sharing a ménage à trois with Holiday's husband. She recruited Haven to
be her partner for a lesbian scene in
Alex de Renzy's
Lady Freaks (1973) (1973), which
originally was called "The Prowler".
Holiday and Haven lived together in the ménage à trois relationship for
two and one-half years, until Holiday's jealousy towards Haven's
affection for her husband broke them up. Bonnie and Annette appeared in
Carnal Haven (1975) in 1975, after
they broke up, as well as in
Desires Within Young Girls (1977)
(1977). Holiday worked steadily during the 1970s but never became a
star, let alone a superstar like her former love. She retired from the
industry in 1980.
