- The script for "Karney" was going to be made into another film like his freshman debut "Vulgar," but it was decided it wouldn't work as a film, so it was made into a comic book mini-series (with often co-star "Fanboy" Walt Flanagan doing the artwork).

- He has appeared in four films directed by Kevin Smith: Mallrats (1995), Chasing Amy (1997), Dogma (1999) and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (2001)_.
- Is currently working on two scripts, the first being a horror movie about the Jersey Devil. The other is about a fallen teen 80s star who had made a pact with the devil. One of the parts of the contract was that she wouldn't remember the deal until it was time to pay up. These three souls from hell come up and try to claim her. It's kind of a surrealistic road trip movie.
- The character Randal Graves from "Clerks" was loosely based on him.
