Daniel Dae Kim has starred in many well-known projects over the years. While he has been a part of several successful films and shows, he has gotten the most attention for playing the role of Fire Lord Ozai in the live-action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender. Outside of the Netflix series, he was also a recurring character in the ABC series, Lost.

During an interview, Kim talked about how his character in the series, Jin-Soo Kwon, was almost killed off in the first season. However, after surviving six seasons, the actor revealed how he felt about where Kwon was left off.
He also touched on aspects of race and how those kinds of prejudices affected his character’s entire run.

Spoiler Alert: This interview contains spoilers for “One Last Time,” the series finale of ABC’s“Station 19,” now streaming on Hulu.
For a show that spent most of its time putting its characters in mortal danger, it’s remarkable that “Station 19” completed its series finale with nearly everyone alive and well — except, of course, for Kate (Kiele Sanchez), the newest addition to 19 who never did quite manage to become a part of the family. Kate got sucked up into a fire tornado — a firenado, perhaps — becoming the finale’s only casualty. Despite injuries and burns and smoke inhalation, everyone else lived on to firefight another day, with visions of their bright futures dancing ahead of them. After years of dealing with the harsh realities of firefighting, they all got their happy ending.

We're not getting a break from Station 19's family members making appearances.
One of the most exciting aspects of Station 19 Season 7 Episode 8 lies in a notable guest star.
The hour will also delve into another topical issue.
The upcoming installment will be one that heavily features Natasha Ross.
The chief has a lot on her plate as she deals with the constant shifts, financial restraints, and high demands of running the house and trying to keep everyone employed.
However, she also has her personal life to consider as she and Sullivan are planning to get married.
Oddly enough, because so much of her storyline revolves around whether or not she'd have to choose her career or love, there seem to be little to no lasting consequences of their relationship, which never should've been controversial in the first place.
No, with the series ending, they've focused on more positive...

Since Station 19’s Ross is heading for a wedding, it was inevitable that we’d get to meet at least some of her family. And in the Thursday, May 16, episode of the sadly cancelled ABC drama (at 10/9c), Lost vet Yunjin Kim makes the first of her two appearances as Jeonghee “Jinny” Lee, the bride’s “full Korean sister,” per the network.
The character is described as being “very cross-cultural, well-educated and living full-time in Korea. She’s a woman at a crossroads and not comfortable with that uncertainty, so she spends her time fully knowing what everyone else should be doing with their lives.

Michael Giacchino's score for the hit ABC series "Lost" is the greatest musical score in television history. A few other composers have come close in the years since the show went off the air, but for my money, Giacchino's masterful score not only perfectly matched the series' stunning visuals over six seasons, but it whisked the audience through rousing, suspenseful, romantic, heartbreaking, propulsive, and mysterious scenes with the types of memorable melodies and repeated leitmotifs that seem to have fallen out of favor in blockbuster filmmaking these days.
While some of the show's music has been available on vinyl before, the full score for season 1 has only recently been made available on that format for the very first time. Varabese Sarabande is selling the score for $38.00 as a 2-lp edition in a silver foil gatefold jacket featuring notes from co-creators J.J. Abrams, Damon Lindelof, and the maestro Michael Giacchino himself.

When Grey’s Anatomy first aired in 2005, THR’s review of the pilot, about a group of new surgical interns at a Seattle hospital, complained the show was “missing the ring of authenticity” and pondered, “Can this medical drama be saved? Not without radical surgery.” Today, it’s safe to say this was a misdiagnosis, as the ABC drama heads into its 20th season and is the longest-running scripted primetime show on the network.
THR did praise the actors — “the cast is solid and as diverse as any to be found on the small screen” — and Sandra Oh, who played aspiring physician Cristina Yang, was a standout. Come January 2006, Oh would win the Golden Globe for best supporting actress in a drama series and, days later, the SAG Award for best actress in a drama series.

Spoiler Alert: This post contains spoilers for “Xo, Kitty,” now streaming on Netflix.
Jenny Han’s 2014 novel “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” first introduces readers to Kitty Song Covey as the mischievous younger sister of main protagonist Lara Jean. Kitty, a precocious pre-teen, harbors a penchant for instigating drama — an affinity that sets off the chain of events leading to the fake-but-eventually-real relationship between her sister and love interest Peter Kavinsky. Memorialized by Anna Cathcart in the 2018 film version of the book — which spawned two sequels and launched the careers of Lana Condor and Noah Centineo, who played the leads — Kitty often serves as the comic relief, offsetting Lara Jean’s careful romantic idealism. But in spinoff series “Xo, Kitty,” which premiered on the streaming service on Thursday, the little sister becomes the star, and Cathcart steps into the spotlight.

This article contains spoilers for Xo, Kitty.
Kitty Song Covey (Anna Cathcart) was a fan favourite in the To All The Boys I Loved Before series as her matchmaking skills set up the still ongoing romance between her sister Lara-Jean (Lana Condor) and Peter Kavinsky (Noah Centineo). The new spin-off series Xo, Kitty sees the teenager attempt to find her own romantic happy ending when she travels to Korea to reunite with her long-distance boyfriend Dae (Minyeong Choi) who attends the Korean International School of Seoul, or Kiss for short. Kitty also attends the school to feel closer to her late mother, who also attended Kiss when she was Kitty’s age.
In 10 episodes, the love-filled journey Kitty thought she was getting is not as straightforward as she expected. Taking inspiration from K-Dramas, the first episode sees Dae and Kitty break up as he’s in a new, fake relationship with Yuri.

Katherine Song Covey (Anna Cathcart), aka Kitty, is a Gen Z dream. Since she was introduced six years ago in the “To All The Boys I Loved Before” trilogy, the precocious younger sister to Laura Jean (Lana Condor) and Margot (Janel Parrish) has walked to her own beat. Steadfast, determined and slightly nosey, Kitty’s incessant meddling helped connect Lj to her long-term love Peter (Noah Centineo). With the new spinoff TV series, “Xo, Kitty,” the youngest Covey sister is stepping into the spotlight and going after the life she feels she deserves, even if that means getting her heart broken in the process.

Xo, Kitty is a television series created by Jenny Han and Jennifer Arnold starring Anna Cathcart.
From the hand of the writer Jenny Han comes this new installment of the youth saga that has conquered millions of young people. This time, we will live a adventure in Seoul in which Kitty is reunited with her long-distance boyfriend and, of course, with herself. The series is actually a spinoff of the trilogy To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before in which Kitty played the role of the protagonist’s younger sister.
For the (few) viewers who don’t know: it is specially designed for teenagers, with themes of their interest, entertaining and easy to consume.
Don’t expect anything complicated, good old Jenny Han became known as a young woman who wrote from her own experience and knew how to connect with viewers.

Updated 7 Pm: For the past two years, Xo, Kitty creator, executive producer and co-showrunner Jenny Han and executive producer and co-showrunner Sascha Rothchild worked on Netflix’s spinoff series from the hit All The Boys I’ve Loved Before movie trilogy. As the series holds its premiere tonight at the Netflix Tudum theater in Hollywood, the duo, along with the rest of the show’s writers, won’t be on hand to celebrate with the cast, producers and executives.
They are sitting the event out as part of WGA’s strike efforts. Writers and multi-hyphenated, including showrunners, are supporting their guild by not participating in any activities related to their series during the work stoppage.
“This moment is bigger than me, It’s bigger than the shows. And what’s at stake is the future of writers and our ability to keep telling stories and we are asking for fair compensation,...

Kitty (Anna Cathcart) finally gets her chance to shine in the trailer for “Xo, Kitty,” a new spin-off series that expands the world of “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” which was explored in the three film adaptations released on Netflix.
“I know when two people are meant for each other,” Cathcart says as an intro to her powerpoint presentation about why she should go to the Korea Independent School of Seoul. “I felt it for Lara Jean and Peter and I feel it for me and Dae.”
In the final film of the “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” trilogy, based on the books by Jenny Han, Kitty met Dae (Minyeong Choi) in New York while Lara Jean was visiting colleges. Now, she’s convinced that she has met her match, so she applied to Kiss because Dae goes there now. She gets in on scholarship, and the adventure begins.

Kitty Song Covey is ready to take on a journey of her own to find herself, and maybe love along the way.
In a newly released trailer for Xo, Kitty, a 10-episode spinoff of the To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before franchise, Anna Cathcart reprises her role as Kitty. But after watching her sister, Lara Jean (Lana Condor) find young love with Peter (Noah Centineo), she is ready for her own adventure.
Jenny Han, To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before author and executive producer for the film franchise, created the young adult series. She also serves as co-showrunner with Sascha Rothchild.
Although the trailer begins with Kitty wanting to move halfway across the world to reunite with her long-distance boyfriend Dae (Minyeong Choi) at the Korean Independent School of Seoul (Kiss), she quickly realizes this next chapter is more than just about romance.

Within a few days of the announcement last week that creator-writer-producer Mike White had settled on Thailand for Season 3 of “The White Lotus” in terms of both setting and shooting locale, the forum posters on Gold Derby were asked by poster Carlo for their casting wish list. And they did not disappoint, as the following makes clear.
Poster Couverture got things started by posting a picture of Michelle Yeoh and Sandra Oh posing together at an event accompanied by the caption, “We will be waiting.” Oh well. It’s Ok to dream, right? Aziz Sliti went next by suggesting Ben Barnes and Lizzy Caplan before later going all “Succession” by adding, “Sarah Snook and Kieran Culkin as a couple is too good to be true.” Lil Tony is looking at Daniel Craig as a contender, while smurty11 is looking for the third season to cast Oh, Allison Williams, Michael Shannon,...

The streaming service just unveiled the first clip from the upcoming young adult romantic comedy spinoff, along with a batch of photos featuring Kitty Song Covey, played by Anna Cathcart.
“We all fell so deeply in love with Lara Jean and her story. So it felt like the greatest gift to give to Kitty was to let her as a character kind of set off on her own two feet and not put her in the shadow of either of her sisters,” explained series creator and co-showrunner Jenny Han.
Although the series is a spinoff, co-showrunners Han and Sascha Rothchild say you don’t have to watch To All the Boys to understand Xo, Kitty.

Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area is a South Korean remake of the Spanish hit, La Casa de Papel, starring Park Hae-soo (Squid Game).
The series is directed by Kim Hong-sun (Luca).
Plot
The story takes off in an era when North and South Korea are reunited. A professor gathers a group of talented thieves from both regions to carry out a heist of the recently minted coin.
About the Series
In the recently added episodes we are offered more action than in its predecessor, and a more elaborate production. However, it does not impress in its premise that is quite similar, perhaps, too much.
Ideal for thriller and action fans. This Netflix series is now in its second season.

In a career-spanning interview with Vulture, Daniel Dae Kim reveals he spoke up to “Lost” creators J.J. Abrams and Damon Lindelof during the production of the pilot with concerns about the Asian stereotypes being depicted in the episode. Kim and co-star Yunjin Kim starred in “Lost” as Korean married couple Jin and Sun, but the characters drew criticism early on for falling into the Asian stereotype of the overbearing husband and his submissive wife.
“When I read the script for the pilot, I knew this was a land mine,” Kim said about the stereotypes. “My greatest fear was that the pilot of ‘Lost’ would air but the series would not — because if you were to see the pilot as the totality of my character, you would have been left with that stereotype.”
Kim continued, “While we were shooting, I remember sitting down with Damon Lindelof and J.J. Abrams and saying,...

We have to go baaaaaack… to the night that ABC’s Lost first splashed onto the airwaves.
This Saturday, May 23, marks the 10th anniversary of the supernatural-tinged mystery drama’s grand finale. So we thought it a good opportunity to flash back — not forward, nor sideways — to the two-hour premiere that aired across a pair of Wednesdays in September 2004, cost a record $10 million to $14 million (versus that time’s industry average of $4 million), and averaged 18 million total viewers.

Lost, Arrow, The Handmaid's Tale... do flashback episodes ever get you down?
We’ve all been there, haven’t we? We’ve waited a week for the brand new ep of our fav new show, desperate to see some forward momentum, some steps towards being satisfied or a road to resolution. But as the intro fades, something seems amiss, out of place and out of time.

Ugh! Flashback episode.
Any Gcse English student should be able to tell you that...
