Sundance Channel has tapped Lynne Kirby as senior vp original programming and development. Kirby will oversee the development and production of the network's original series and films, including the documentary series The Hill, which focuses on congressional politics, and an untitled docu series on fashion designer Ozwald Boateng. Kirby, who was head of New York-based development at the Discovery Channel, will report to executive vp programming and marketing Laura Michalchyshyn and be based in New York.
