Could the original Suits cast reunite for a spin-off movie? The show’s stars say there is a strong possibility, but it would require the blessing of the show’s creator, Aaron Korsh. Speaking with Entertainment Tonight from the show’s reunion panel at the Atx TV Festival in Austin, Texas, on Sunday (June 2), Patrick J. Adams, Sarah Rafferty, Amanda Schull, and Dulé Hill shared their thoughts on a potential film adaptation of the beloved legal drama. “Honestly, I think it wouldn’t surprise me if they did a model where you end up having some type of film,” said Hill, who played Alex Williams in the show’s final three seasons. He added that he could see a potential project or movie on Peacock for the show. “Oh my gosh, we’d have so much fun,” added Rafferty, who starred as Donna Paulsen across all nine seasons of the popular USA Network drama.

“What took you so long?”
That was the general vibe of the “Suits” reunion panel Sunday afternoon, where stars Patrick J. Adams, Sarah Rafferty, Dulé Hill, Amanda Schull, and executive Jeff Wachtel gathered to discuss the legal drama that aired for nine seasons on USA Network but gained an expanded following when it hit Netflix in June 2023.
“The people in this room know it’s hard to make TV, and it’s really hard to make good TV, let alone great TV,” Wachtel said. “But on some level, when people ask me if I was surprised [by the resurgence on Netflix], I’m like, what took you so long?”
Wachtel, who was the head of programming at USA Network when “Suits” premiered, praised the cast as well as the casting director who put them together, Bonnie Zane, who was watching from the audience.

Could “Suits” be a movie? It’s not out of the question, said star Patrick J. Adams during Sunday’s reunion panel at the Atx TV Festival.
Following a retrospective panel with Adams, Sarah Rafferty, Dulé Hill, Amanda Schull, Abigail Spencer and executive Jeff Wachtel, a fan asked if the cast or creators would ever be interested in a reunion movie. While creator Aaron Korsh couldn’t be there — and is working on the spinoff — he’s interested in it, according to Adams.
“I am a person of no power or authority, but obviously, there’s a ‘Suits: LA‘ show that is being made. That is the focus of Aaron, I think he would agree,” Adams, who played Mike Ross on the legal drama, said. “But it’s definitely something he’s interested in doing, in trying to get the band back together. With the resurgence of Suits, there’s already a spinoff of the USA Network series in the works — but what about returning to Pearson Hardman (or whatever it’s being called nowadays)?
It’s not out of the realm of possibility, star Patrick J. Adams revealed during Atx’s Suits retrospective where Adams was joined by fellow cast members Sarah Rafferty, Amanda Schull, Dulé Hill, and Abigail Spencer.
“It’s definitely something [creator Aaron Korsh] is interested in doing, trying to get the band back together,” Adams said in response to a fan question about whether Suits would get the movie treatment, similar to other USA Network series. “It’s gonna depend on a million things if that can happen, but is it possible.”
As for whether the cast is in, Adams was a firm yes, as was Hill.

The ninth season of Suits will head to Netflix on July 1, the streamer announced Sunday. The final installment of last year’s viral phenomenon was previously only available on Peacock.
The news came as castmembers Patrick J. Adams, Sarah Rafferty, Dulé Hill, Amanda Schull, Abigail Spencer and former USA Network president Jeff Wachtel gathered Sunday for a reunion panel presented by Tudum at the Atx TV Festival in Austin, Texas.
Suits, which originally premiered on USA Network from 2011 to 2019, followed Mike Ross (Adams), a college dropout with a photographic memory who is hired at a New York law firm by Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht). The show’s first eight seasons debuted on Netflix last year to great success — by the end of 2023, it was the most streamed show of the year.
Following the newfound success of the series, NBC ordered a pilot for spinoff show Suits: L.A. earlier this year.

Major Spoilers for Suits
By now everybody knows about the USA Network’s relatively hit series at its time of release which became one of the biggest series ever after it came out on Netflix in June 2023. Yes, we are talking about Aaron Korsh‘s legal drama series Suits. Which got over 3.14 billion minutes of watch time surpassing the fantasy drama Manifest. This led to NBC greenlighting a pilot for an L.A.-based spin-off series titled Suits: L.A. with which they are hoping to capture the original series’ audience. But in this article, I am trying to figure out if a spin-off of Suits will even work because one has already failed.
A few months before the final episode of Suits aired we got a brand new spin-off starring Gina Torres. She played the role of Jessica Pearson in the original series from the beginning and she was a...

If that seems like a mouthful, the details will probably help you see what’s what.
Fall Season
Three new series are set to premiere in the fall, including the drama Brilliant Minds, starring Zachary Quinto and inspired by the true story of a revolutionary, larger-than-life neurologist, Oliver Wolf, and his team of interns as they explore the last great frontier — the human mind — while also grappling with their own relationships and mental health.
St. Denis Medical, which stars Wendi McLendon-Covey, Allison Tolman, and David Alan Grier and is from co-creators Justin Spitzer and Eric Ledgin, brings the laughs with a mockumentary about an underfunded, understaffed Oregon hospital where the dedicated doctors...

Suits, a long-running mainstay on cable’s USA Network that became a streaming phenomenon last year, will make its broadcast debut this fall on MyNetwork TV.
The show’s slot in Fox’s Monday-through-Friday syndicated programming block, which reaches 97% of U.S. TV homes, will mark the first time it will be available on free television. A premiere date has not yet been announced.
The legal drama, which premiered on USA Network in 2011, became a streaming phenomenon when it landed on Netflix and NBCUniversal’s Peacock in 2023. Even though the Netflix run was non-exclusive (the show’s full nine seasons can only be streamed on Peacock), it racked up viewing minutes in the tens of billions and broke a number of Nielsen records. The surge of interest led to NBCU and creator Aaron Korsh to plot out an entire Suits universe, with new iteration Suits: L.A. landing a pilot order last February.

After setting streaming records for months on end last year, Suits is heading to a new — or rather, old — frontier: broadcast syndication.
The former USA Network series will make its over-the-air debut in the fall on the Fox-owned MyNetwork TV programming service. All nine seasons (134 episodes in total) will be available via the service, which covers about 97 percent of TV homes in the United States.
“It’s become increasingly more difficult, if not impossible, to launch obscure product on broadcast TV,” said Frank Cicha, executive vp programming for Fox Televsion Stations. “Suits is arguably the most buzzworthy scripted series of the last half decade, and MyNet looks forward to amplifying its success by introducing it to the broadcast television audience. We’re discussing some fun ways to do just that.”

There’s nobody quite like Harvey Specter. The character from Suits is undeniably one of the best ever created. Since the show ended, the fan base for this character has only grown stronger. As a result, the idea of a spin-off emerged called Suits L.A., and work on it is in full swing, although details are still tightly under wraps.
While it’s a spin-off, the show promises to offer audiences something new while maintaining the integrity of the original series. And Stephen Amell’s character, Ted Black, already proves that while loosely inspired by Harvey Specter, Black differs from Specter in one significant way.

How Does Stephen Amell’s Ted Black Differ From Gabriel Macht’s Harvey Specter?
As a spin-off, comparisons between Suits L.A. and the original series are inevitable, with particular scrutiny likely falling on Stephen Amell’s character, Ted Black.

Exclusive: Anthony E. Zuiker, the creator of the hugely successful CSI TV franchise, has signed with boutique management firm Literate.
This marks a rare new addition to Zuiker’s close-knit representation team, nicknamed affectionately by the writer-producer “Team Zuiker,” who has been shaping his career and brand for more than two decades.
It follows the January death of Zuiker’s beloved manager of over 25 years, Margaret Riley, most recently of Lighthouse Entertainment, who passed away from cancer at the age of 58.
