Good afternoon peeps!
Happy birthday to Emmylou Harris and Jill Kushner!
Pixar will be making a sequel to Finding Nemo called Finding Dory, starring the one and only Ellen DeGeneres! The fish-tale (get it?) is scheduled to hit theaters on November 25, 2015.
And what do you think of DeGeneres new (April Fools' Day-inspired) look?

Suze Orman is threatening to take her gay-money out of Florida. Orman appeared on MSNBC’s Now with Alex Wagner and said, “Currently I am a resident of Florida and I have substantial wealth and I pay substantial taxes. Good afternoon everyone!
Happy birthday to Lori Lindsey and Albert Nobbs star Glenn Close!
In this exclusive clip from the animated lesbian sci-fi film Strange Frame, actress Claudia Black (Farscape) talks about preparing for the role of Parker and her steamy sex scene (some of which is included in the clip below). Enjoy! Strange Frame is out today on DVD, and our reviewer loved it.

Ellen DeGeneres made me chuckle with the below Tweet.
— Ellen DeGeneres (@TheEllenShow) March 18, 2013
Lily Tomlin talked to Vanity Fair about playing Tina Fey's mom in Admission, her wig collection and reminisced about being an 18-year-old "Amazon." She also weighed in on Girls and Lena Dunham.
Lindsay Lohan’s on-again on-again legal troubles are once again igniting the internet. The out actress will be returning to rehab “under lock and key” for 90-days.

Dr. Lexie Grey is back! Well, what I really mean is actress Chyler Leigh will be returning to the small screen for the NBC comedy pilot Holding Patterns. The series will follow “a group of friends whose lives are altered after surviving a plane crash.” And no, I’m not kidding. Leigh has been cast as “Leah, the irresponsible, absent-minded, perpetually late slacker. Her life’s a mess and she lacks direction, but she’s not a loser; she’s intelligent, funny, and genuinely values her friends, even when sarcastically mocking them.”

Michaels says that in her motivational speaking event, "Maximize Your Life," “I'll talk to people about diet and I'll talk to them about exercise but also the bigger picture. Jolie will helm the World War II bi-pic Unbroken. The film will be an adaptation of Laura Hillenbrand's book Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience and Redemption. It's a true story about Louis Zamperini, “a competitor at the 1936 Olympics who, as a U.S. Army Air Forces bombardier during World War II, survived a plane crash and then spent the rest of the war in a Japanese prison camp.”
Jennifer Lawrence is posing like a superhero on the cover of South Africa's Marie Claire. And I thank her for that.

Turning teen novel series into web series is becoming a regular thing for Alloy Entertainment, and why not, it seems to be working. The latest sendup from bookshelves is The Clique from author Lisi Harrison. This time Alloy has teamed up with Warner Premiere to develop a live-action version of the teen drama for the digital distribution. Warner has tapped FM78.tv to produce the series, the new media savvy production company headed by Justine Bateman, Jill Kushner and Peter Murrieta. Murrieta, exec producers of Disney Channel’s Wizard of Waverly Place will executive produce the series along with Alloy’s Leslie Morgenstein and Bob Levy, who produced the 2009 DVD movie version of The Clique. Kushner and Bateman will co-write the script which is currently in development. By my count, there are 12 books in the series, plus another 5 from a “summer” edition. Each of the books sports cutsy movie puns for...

This morning, Warner Bros., a major American production studio, announced its intention to develop a live action digital series adapted from The Clique, a book series written by Lisi Harrison.
Fans of The Clique should expect to see new characters. Besides, the all new episodes will be written by Justine Bateman (Easy to Assemble) and Emmy Award-winner Jill Kushner (Ellen: The Ellen DeGeneres Show).
As for the story, no details have been revealed. However, let's have in mind that The Clique, as a book series, targets "young adults". The story takes place in a prestigious private school for girls. Among the students, a clique dominates: the Pretty Committee, which is led by Massie Block. The four members of this clique see themselves at the top of the food chain and makes a point in wearing designer clothes. As time goes by, Claire Lyons who just moved to Florida will join...

On a rainy day in early March, I stopped by the West Hollywood offices of FM78.tv, the original online content production company headed up by Justine Bateman, Jill Kushner, Peter Murrieta, and Alan Sereboff. The company's first project, The Molls Show, which is written and directed by Molly McAleer and executive produced by FM78, is out now at TheMollsShow.com with the release of their third episode today. They've also announced their second project, Candy Inc., which will star Bateman along with comedians Jeff Garlin, Judd Nelson, Buck Henry, Wallace Langham, Beverly D'Angelo, Suzi Nakamura, and Doug Stanhope, with Steve Pink as director.
