“Me wanting to be on the show was prompted from my family,” says Grammy-nominated R&b star Sisqo while discussing his time as Lizard on “The Masked Singer.” “They’re big fans of the show. And as it turns out, it seemed like once a season or every other season one of the judges would guess that whoever was masked was me. My family was like, ‘They keep guessing it’s you, when you just gonna go on there?'” Watch his exclusive video interview with Gold Derby senior editor Denton Davidson above.
As Lizard, Sisqo sang “Bring Me to Life” by Evanescense on “Shower Anthems Night.” After receiving the least amount of votes in the Group C final, he was forced to “take it off” and reveal himself. Panelists Robin Thicke and Rita Ora were right on the money, guessing Sisqo’s identity based on that unmistakable tone. Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg...

After two weeks of being on “The Masked Singer” chopping block, Sisqó is finally gone-guh-gone-gone-gone.
I think I’ll sing it again: Sisqó’s been dumped like a truck, truck, truck. “The Masked Singer” has removed his butt, butt, butt. Let me see (who sang) that song!
That’s right, “Thong Song” superstar Sisqó on Wednesday became the latest celebrity to be unmasked on “The Masked Singer,” revealed to be the Lizard.
For Sisqó as the Lizard, several of the panelists had figured it out. Robin Thicke and Rita Ora knew it was Sisqó. Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg picked Ray J. Ken Jeong said it was Michael Bivins.
Lizard was voted out after being one of the two lowest vote-getters in the two previous episodes.

This week’s episode of The Masked Singer saw Group C hit the stage with four new contestants. When the episode ended, two newcomers had to face off in the Smackdown. Luckily for Lizard, he won out in the Smackdown round. Spaghetti & Meatballs unmasked as restaurateur and MasterChef judge Joe Bastianich. But who is Lizard?
Here is what Lizard sang on The Masked Singer, his clue package, and who we think is under the mask.
Lizard Performs On The Masked Singer
Lizard came out on The Masked Singer this week and performed a Billy Joel song on the night honoring the legendary singer/songwriter. For Lizard, the song was “Uptown Girl.” Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg said he was clearly a “showman” while Rita Ora said he was “tiny.” Lizard was in the bottom two and in the Smackdown round, he and Spaghetti & Meatballs sang “Movin’ Out (Anthony’s Song).”

Were you as pleased as we were that the judges saved the Lizard on the March 20 episode of “The Masked Singer”? We liked this fellow from the moment he strode on stage and blew the roof off the joint with his rollicking rendition of “Uptown Girl” by Billy Joel Seger. So we were beyond pleased when he won the Smackdown against Spaghetti and Meatballs after they duelled on the ditty “Movin’ Out (Anthony’s Song).”
We’ve rewatched both of the performances by the Lizard as well as his clues package. Forget those guesses by the judges that Lizard is Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, Ralph Tresvant or Ray J. We are convinced we’ve cracked the code and know the name of the celebrity masquerading as Lizard. Keep reading as we have all your “The Masked Singer” spoilers, including the answer to the question, “Who is Lizard?”

“Dancing with the Stars” is back on ABC and some things just stay the same: if a celebrity has a song or is associated with a song, they will likely perform to it for their first dance.
ABC has unveiled the 14 dance styles and songs for Tuesday’s Season 32 premiere, and would you be shocked to learn that Jason Mraz is dancing the cha-cha to one of his own songs? And that the song is “I Feel Like Dancing”? Similarly, Barry Williams will perform a foxtrot to “It’s a Sunshine Day” by The Brady Bunch. Gotta get these outta the way. Mraz is one of six stars who will make their “Dancing” debut with the cha-cha. Williams, however, is the only one doing the foxtrot. Four couples have the tango, Two have the salsa and one has the jive.

In any other inauguration week in Washington, D.C., the city would be filling up with people in a festive atmosphere. Celebrities would be flying in, some in private jets, to take the stage for a pre-swearing in concert at the Lincoln Memorial. Nearly 30 years after Bell Biv Devoe first performed at the American Music Awards, the new jack swing legends returned to the AMAs to deliver a medley of their songs.
The trio of Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, and Ronnie DeVoe sang their two most enduring hits, “Do Me!” and “Poison,” at Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theater on Sunday. Bell Biv Devoe performed on a stage that looked straight out of MTV’s Nineties heyday, with school lockers and Lakers jerseys decorating the backdrop as they crooned through their iconic singles.

Bet’s “The New Edition” story traces the dramatic rise of Boston’s New Edition. But the group’s legacy goes way beyond its string of hits. Bobby Brown went solo after being ejected from the group in 1985, though he would later reunite with his bandmates. He did fine on his own, knocking out hits like “My Prerogative” and “Every Little Step.” After Brown’s exit, Michael Bivins recruited solo artist Johnny Gill to join the group in 1987. Gill was the only member of New Edition who wasn’t from Boston. When Ralph Tresvant went solo, he ushered in an...

Overalls are huge right now (in a #throwbackthursday kind of way). They’re all over Forever 21, H&M, and Asos.com — not to mention runways like 3.1 Phillip Lim and Balmain. The resurgence of this slouchy staple is a bit of a fashion mystery. Seriously, when did the relatively grungey, traditional workman’s uniform become chic? The easy answer is: 25 years ago. We owe this overalls renaissance to early ’90s nostalgia, back when boy bands like New Kids on the Block and Bell Biv Devoe enticed and titillated in spray-painted, bare-chested versions of the look (and if you were truly fly, you wore yours backwards, like Kriss Kross).
Let’s go back in time to celebrate the silliest overalls in fashion history.

"One day I'm going to sing with those guys," an 8-year-old Seth Rogen whispered to himself 24 years ago in his quiet suburban Canadian house after seeing the video for Bell Biv DeVoe's "Poison" on Much Music. This weekend, that dream came to fruition at the third annual Hilarity for Charity event he hosted with his wife, Lauren Miller Rogen. After performances from the likes of Sarah Silverman, Weird Al, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt (covering No Doubt’s "I’m Just a Girl"), Bell Biv DeVoe came onstage to do what they do. They event raised over $900,000 for Alzheimer's research. Great! As Bbd sings in the song's first verse, "Let's cure it 'cause we're running out of time."...

It's been 25 years in the making, and it's finally here: Lifetime's Unauthorized Saved By the Bell movie aired tonight, and we spent two full hours of our Labor Day subjecting ourselves to it. Was it good? No. Was it bad? That's a harder question to answer, but only because 'yes' has more letters in it than 'no,' and typing is hard after all the cookies we've eaten today. We will say, however, that we enjoyed watching it immensely, and that enjoyment was only mostly due to the excellent music (Oh hey, Bell Biv DeVoe). The Unauthorized Saved By the Bell Story told the scandalous tale of everything that apparently went on behind the scenes over the course of four seasons, from...

Put on your baggiest Hypercolor® tee, your finest high-tops and your stoniest stone-washed jeans -- it's time to return to "Saved By the Bell." Lifetime knows how much you want to watch the cable network's highly-anticipated "The Unauthorized Story Of Saved By The Bell," so they've released the first five minutes of the movie online. The clip begins at a 1990 public appearance in Cincinnati where thousands of fans clamor to catch a glimpse of the teen tube stars in a very "Hard Day's Night"-kind of way. It then transforms into what can only be described as "Screech's Goodfellas," with Sam Kindseth playing scrawny star Dustin Diamond. It flashes back to Diamond's 1988 audition and includes lots of narration, a rousing pop soundtrack (The Go-Gos, Bell Biv Devoe), restless camerawork, and Screech breaking the fourth wall in order to address the audience. Well, at least Bell Biv Devoe’s “Poison” is percolating in the background.
There, we said something nice about the first teaser trailer for Lifetime’s The Unauthorized Saved By the Bell Story — a pastiche of groan-inducing dialogue, clichéd “they only smiled when the cameras were on” plot lines and visual reminders of just how much the average telephone has shrunk over the last two decades.
The other big take-away: Apparently, Mario Lopez perspired profusely prior to transforming himself into a shiny, secretion-free host-bot. (A sweaty teenager?! Shocking!)

Scoop on returning fall shows

However, because of this — and the fact that Bell Biv Devoe's "Poison" plays almost in its entirely — the clip only makes us more excited to watch this train wreck.

Lifetime released a sneak peek of The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story, a made-for-tv movie that claims to show what it was like behind the scenes of the popular 90s TV show.

The singer says he's suffering exhaustion and fatigue after an intrusive medical procedure.
The show must go on – without Bobby Brown.
The artist was forced to suddenly exit the New Edition tour after a recent "intrusive medical procedure" has left him suffering from exhaustion and fatigue. The news comes just days after video surfaced of Brown walking off stage mid performance, appearing severely out of breath.
"I apologize to the fans of New Edition. I really wanted to be with my brothers, but presently I am unable to give the fans what they typically expect from New Edition," Brown said in a statement. "When I am 100 percent, I look forward to returning to touring."
The band's debut album, Candy Girl, first hit shelves in 1983. They went on to release seven studio albums, a slew of compilation records and two holiday albums.
