Two months after the unexpected passing of former MTV reality star Brian Lancaster, his cause of death has been revealed. According to the Chester County Coroner's Office, the former reality star, who appeared on Road Rules in 1999, died at 43 years old from fentanyl, heroin and ethanol intoxication. Markie Post, who played public defender Christine Sullivan on the NBC sitcom “Night Court,” reacted to the news of series star Harry Anderson’s death at age 65 on Monday, saying she was “devastated” by the loss.
“I am devastated,” Post, who appeared as a regular on Seasons 3 through 9 of the series, said in a tweet. “I’ll talk about you later, Harry, but for now, I’m devastated.”
Anderson was found in his home in Asheville, North Carolina, early Monday morning, police confirmed to the local CBS station Wspa.

The actor earned three Emmy nominations for his role as Judge Harry Stone on the NBC comedy, which aired from 1984 to 1992. Police said no foul play was suspected. A spokesperson for the Asheville Police Department did not immediately respond to TheWrap’s request for comment.
His co-star Marsha Warfield posted a tearful reaction to the news of Anderson’s death to Facebook, saying: “I didn’t know I was going to be this emotional, or I wouldn’t have started this video.”
Warfield said, “he was a good man, he was a good friend. He was kind to me when I first got on ‘Night Court.'”

Brian Lancaster, a competitor on Season 7 of MTV’s “Road Rules,” has died at age 43.
An obituary published by DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home in West Chester, Pennsylvania, states that Lancaster died March 29 in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania.
The obituary describes Lancaster as “a jack of many trades including advertising account manager, telecommunications project manager, special education teacher, bartender, and reality TV star.”

The Chester County Coroner’s Office told TheWrap that Lancaster’s death is pending investigation.
TMZ reports that Lancaster was found dead in his home. According to the news outlet, his family said that he had a history of arrhythmia and suspect that heart failure was responsible for his death.
“A spiritual explorer, dreamy stargazer, inquisitive world traveler and barstool philosopher who enjoyed a good mind meld, Brian exceled [sic] at being a human being rather than a human doing,” Lancaster’s obituary reads. “Constant in his soul and spirit, he would share possessions, thoughts and every part of his essence with anyone who came into his orbit.”

Lancaster is survived by his fiancee Sarah and parents, Dennis and Carol.
