Rap artist Mystikal released from prison. You know, six years doesn't sound like a long time, however, when you look back at the time Mystikal was on top of the music charts, it's a hell of a long time. The rapper was released Thursday after serving a six-year prison sentence and is now expect to begin rebuilding his career.
The Grammy-nominated star who's real name is Michael Lawrence Tyler, was jailed back in 2004 on charges of sexual assault and battery. He pleaded guilty after his hair stylist accused him of forcing her to perform sex acts on him and his bodyguard. He tells radio station Q93 FM, "I'm back. It almost feels like a dream. Six years off the scene for most rappers, it would be over with, but it's a new beginning for me. Wait 'til I shake the world up now. I want reparations."

On September 26, 2009, Alan Cumming will be making his U.S. West Coast debut at the Orange County Performing Arts Center with his one-man cabaret Alan Cumming: I Bought A Blue Car Today. The show earned rave reviews in New York, Sydney and London; now his unique musical stylings will be on display during two shows at the Samueli Theater. Milk screenwriter Dustin Lance Black is suing Starzlife, the website that published pictures of the writer having sex with an ex-boyfriend, for three million dollars damages. Black is also suing the person who leaked the naughty photos. From Gcn: "Black, who also speaks on gay rights issues and safe sex practices across America, is planning to sue Starzlife Inc. who published photos of Black engaging in sex acts in 2006 with his then boyfriend Justin Delancey for breach of privacy and copyright infringement. Black has also filed a lawsuit against Michael Lawrence Delancey's ex-boyfriend who alleges he stole the photos from Delancey's computer while they were together. Black claims in the lawsuit that he thought the photos were merely of "their heads and upper torsos", were not of a sexually explicit nature and were to remain private."
