Confession: I love Center Stage. A lot. Like “I downloaded Jamiroquai’s ‘Canned Heat’ for when I need to get pumped up” a lot. I even watched the sequel Turn It Up when it premiered (exclusively) on Oxygen.

After debuting on Us television in March 2004, Wonderfalls was abruptly pulled from the schedules only four weeks later. However like all good TV shows – and believe me this is a Great show – the series found itself a cult audience, one who would find any way of seeing the remaining nine episodes that were not screened on American television. Of course not all countries and and all TV stations cut off the show after four episodes and eventually all thirteen episodes became available via less-than-legal torrents and file sharing services. It’s winter break, you guys. You know what that means, don’t you?
A month of repeats, that’s what.
Yes, as much as winter break signifies rest and rejuvenation for the college student population of America, it’s all about boredom and monotony in the television world. Sure, a few cable reality shows are still going on and the occasional scripted show, but for the most part, we’re out of luck until the first week of the new year at the earliest. But don’t fret, TV fans, as there is plenty of good stuff to tide you over during the blizzards and endless holiday specials.
Here are five shows that you would do well in catching up on/completing during the holiday break:
Freaks & Geeks (NBC)
How many episodes: 18
Who’s in it: James Franco, Busy Phillips, Seth Rogen, Linda Cardinelli, John Francis Daley, and Jason Segel,...

CBC, a Canadian TV network, announced that its hit original series Being Erica's third season will premiere Tuesday, September 21 at 9 Pm. This premiere happens to be one week after the release of the show's second season on DVD on September 14.
Those who have seen the second season knows that Erica Strange (Erin Karpluk), a thirty-two-year-old woman from Toronto, broke up with her boyfriend, Ethan Wakefield (Tyron Leitso). Besides, she got fired from her job as a junior editor at River Rock, a publishing house along with her boss (and also friend), Julianne Giacomelli (Reagan Pasternak). As the second season's cliffhanger suggested it, Erica and Julianne have decided to found a publishing house of their own.
Brent Kennedy (Morgan Kelly), Erica's and Julianne's former colleague, is now the editor at River Rock. Because he holds a grudge against Erica and Julianne, he'll stop at nothing to put them out of business.

Being Erica: Season One
Stars: Erin Karpluk, Michael Riley, Tyron Leitso, Vinessa Antoine | Created by Jana Sinyor
Back in high school, Erica thought she’d grow up, meet ‘the’ guy, get ‘the’ career, have a couple of beautiful, talented children and ride off into the sunset. But somehow, it never happened. After a series of mishaps, Erica meets the mysterious Dr Tom – a therapist who seems to know a lot about her. Dr Tom gives her the chance of a lifetime…In each episode, Erica goes back to relive a regret from her past, in order to come back and make a positive change in her present…
This Canadian drama looks, on the surface, to be another Sex and the City type drama, with a good looking cast and a hip soundtrack that follows the fortunes of a neurotic thirty-something woman as she struggles with problems in her life.

Although CBC, a Canadian public TV network, hasn't formally made an announcement, The Cultural Post has a strong proof that the TV series Being Erica got renewed for a third season. Therefore, this is not an attempt to spread a rumour on the net.
First of all, according to the Ontario Media Development Corporation (Omdc), the third season of this show created by Jana Sinyor will be in production from May 17 to October 15.
Moreover, since there's no formal announcement of CBC that The Cultural Post can speak of, this also means that there are no details about the third season's story. Nonetheless, if any of you don't know what Being Erica is all about, here's a description of the synopsis.
Erica Strange (Erin Karpluk) is a woman of 32 years old. Since the events of the first season, she has been in relation with Ethan Wakefield (Tyron Leitso), a school teacher.

First of all, I'd like to thank my fellow countryman Mike for finding this news story. Yesterday was a big day for Erin Karpluk. Not only was it the premiere of Being Erica's second season on SoapNet, but she also gave an interview on The View, a talk-show hosted by Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Sherri Shepherd.

Of course, Erica doesn't talk about her therapies to her best friends (Vinessa Antoine, Paula Brancati and Sebastian Pigott), her boyfriend (Tyron Leitso) or her sister (Joanna Douglas) just to name a few of her relatives.
