- Regina Linnanheimo was one of the most luminous stars of Finnish cinema during its golden age of 1930-50's. She was also one the few actresses who worked almost exclusively for film industry and not for theatre or radio. She is mostly known for her roles in romantic and historical period melodramas which were hugely successful at the box office of Finland at the time.On the other hand, Linnanheimo showcased her tendencies for darker undertones in several Teuvo Tulio films after she left Suomi-Filmi production company in the mid 1940's.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Janne Järvinen

- Linnanheimo left movies in 1956. After that she worked among others as a translator in Finnish broadcasting corporation as Regina Mörner.
- Played a young working class woman in love with a count in Katariina ja Munkkiniemen kreivi (1943). Five years later she married a count in real life.
- On 1931 she was a stand-in for her sister Rakel Linnanheimo in Jääkärin morsian (1931). She was brought to the set on Santahamina, Helsinki, from the middle of a lesson at her school. Later she stated that it was one of the most memorable moments of her movie career. Then she was certain that she wanted to be an actress especially in the movies.
- Finnish National Audiovisual Institute (KAVI) named its new movie theatre, opened in 2019, 'Kino Regina', honoring Regina Linnanheimo.
