As Yellowstone trots towards its final episodes, there is still a ranch full of unanswered questions. Near the top of that list is, Will Kevin Costner be returning? Well, it turns out that Costner has yet to have even a phone conversation with creator Taylor Sheridan over the future of John Dutton on Yellowstone. But that doesn’t quite rule out a role for him on the western series — or a spot in one of Sheridan’s future projects.
Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Kevin Costner spoke positively of the work ethic of and his standing with Taylor Sheridan, saying, “He’s doing special work in a lot of different ways. He’s very prolific about the things he does, and if he sees me in something that he wants to do, I’ll look at it just the way I did Yellowstone and maybe we will end up doing something together.

The performance will mark the Grammy Award-winner’s first time taking center stage at a Pride event and the organization’s first time with an openly gay Latin artist as a headliner. L.A. Pride in the Park will return to the Los Angeles State Historic Park on June 8, and will boast a theme of “Power in Pride.”
The news for Martin comes as he’s currently seen on the small screen in the Apple TV+ series Palm Royale opposite Kristen Wiig, Josh Lucas, Leslie Bibb, Laura Dern, Allison Janney, Kaia Gerber and Carol Burnett, among others. “I am thrilled to be headlining L.A. The famous movie starring Reese Witherspoon may be more than 20 years old, but Matthew McConaughey still accidentally gets all the fame for allegedly being in it, but he in fact never was.
Sweet Home Alabama, a 2002 romcom, also lists Josh Lucas among its main actors, though he doesn’t get too much credit just because of many fans’ common mistake.
The truth about the whole situation was recently revealed by Reese Witherspoon during her talk with People. The actress got to reminisce about her most astounding roles like Elle Woods in Legally Blonde, Annett in Cruel Intentions or her Oscar-winning performance as Johnny Cash’s wife June in 2005’s Walk the Line.
When Sweet Home Alabama was brought up, Witherspoon couldn’t help mentioning the funny incident that keeps haunting her co-star from other films, Matthew McConaughey.

Stars: Kit Harington, Scoot McNairy, Josh Lucas, Ethan Suplee, Nora Zehetner | Written by David Ebeltoft | Directed by Rod Blackhurst
Cliff (Scoot McNairy) is a struggling salesman, with employers closing doors on him like there’s no tomorrow. Through a chance encounter, he reconnects with old friend Ricky (Kit Harington), who now is a drugs runner across Montana. With Cliff in dire straits, the two agree to team up, prompting even more danger than they could ever have imagined.
Without even getting into its nuances — or at least, finer details — Blood For Dust can be best summed up as an inoffensive movie that we’ve definitely seen before. However, that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Harking back to the black comedy vibe of Fargo, merely replacing the comedy element with the Midwestern gritty violence of Yellowstone, the movie well knows what it is. Most importantly, it knows where it is.

You can tell they shot Blood for Dust outside. People’s cold breath hangs in the wintry air, and it’s not the kind of wispy CGI breath that never seems to move quite right. Half-melted snow clings to the streets and straw-yellow Montana hills. The film’s title and poster would blend right into a direct-to-video lineup, but director Rod Blackhurst brings surprising texture and craft to bear on the otherwise familiar proceedings of this ’90s-set noir.
In a rare lead role, dependable and charismatic character actor Scoot McNairy plays Cliff, a traveling salesman whose tired eyes give away his success on the job. Maybe he was persuasive once, but he’s now tough to imagine peddling anything to anyone, much less the defibrillators that he crams into the back of his station wagon alongside the dummy he uses to demonstrate them. He even botches an attempt to blackmail...

With its riveting tales of the Dutton family, Taylor Sheridan’s popular neo-Western series Yellowstone has commanded viewer attention and opened the door for an ever-expanding universe of spinoffs. Among these, fans are intrigued by the idea of a series that would focus on Josh Lucas’ portrayal of a young John Dutton.
Even though the second half of season 5 of the adored Paramount+ series is wrapping up and will premiere later this year, fans still have a lot to look forward to. Since Lucas so brilliantly played Kevin Costner’s rancher in Yellowstone’s first season, fans have been raving, as they still want to see more of the actor in that role.

Yellowstone has been one of the most remarkable TV series in the recent past. The Taylor Sheridan show primarily focuses on the largest ranch owners in Montana, the Dutton family with its primary focus on Kevin Costner’s John Dutton III. While Costner has given an incredible performance as Dutton, actor Josh Lucas also played a younger version of the character in the series.

The Ides of March were marked this year by a three-way race among high profile filmmakers – Peter Farrelly, Doug Liman and Guy Ritchie – with original streaming film and TV series debuts across Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. But the sleeper success story of the week belonged to Netflix’s Lindsay Lohan rom com movie “Irish Wish.”
Ritchie made a splashy debut on March 7 with Netflix’s “The Gentlemen,” an eight-episode TV heist drama delivered in the director’s signature style. In its second week, “Gentlemen” had solid hold with a modest 30% decline to 1.3 billion minutes watched during the March 15-21 frame, according to original streaming content ratings calculated by Luminate.

Striking a tonal balance between drama and comedy can be difficult. It’s even harder when the series must adhere to a specific place and time. Yet Palm Royale, which debuts on March 20th on Apple TV+, makes a strong play for the Mad Men demographic. Equal parts stylish, melodramatic, and witty, there’s a lot to like about Palm Royale. However, even with one of the greatest casts ever assembled for a television show on paper, one cannot help but feel disappointed. There are fun performances, but its premise and story feel antiquated in 2024.

In the first episode of the new Apple comedy series Palm Royale, Kristen Wiig’s Maxine tells a long, rambling story to Dinah (Leslie Bibb), a wealthy woman she’s trying to befriend. An impatient Dinah tells her, “I have lost the thread here, Maxine.”
Dinah is meant to be one of the villains of Palm Royale, forever trying to undercut Maxine’s attempts to claw her way into Palm Beach high society in the summer of 1969. Yet in this moment and many others, her complaints about Maxine ring truer...

“When you first come to Palm Beach, you think you’re the oldest and the richest. But then you realize you are the youngest and poorest.”
Everybody has goals. For new resident Maxine Simmons (Kristen Wiig), hers is to enter the world of Palm Beach high society circa 1969. She dreams of joining the Palm Royale, the most exclusive country club in the area. It’s the sort of exclusive place filled with swimming pools, galas and daytime martinis that feeds into the competitive charity season. It’s the time of year where the wealthy women in the area show off their wallets and organizational skills to vie for the coveted title of “Queen of the Season.”
All this just to be mentioned in the local society papers. After all, “At the Palm Royale, the more you gave, the more you got.”

Long before Instagram stories and TikTok videos were a thing, gossip magazines and television allowed everyday people to feel a connection to the wealthy and beautiful. In real life, few are brave enough to elbow their way onto the A-list, but others are bold enough to demand a seat at the table — which brings us to “Palm Royale.” Based on Juliet McDaniel’s novel, “Mr. & Mrs. American Pie,” and adapted for television by Abe Sylvia, Apple TV+’s new 1960s-set comedy, “Palm Royale” follows bottle-blonde Palm Beach transplant Maxine Simmons (a perfectly cast Kristen Wiig), who is determined to craft a glitzy and glamorous life for herself, even if it means bending the rules a smidge. Wildy outrageous and amusing, “Palm Royale” suggests that you might get more than you requested if you’re delusional enough to go after what you want.

For new comedy series Palm Royale, Kristen Wiig is putting her long résumé of accents to work.
The former Saturday Night Live star is back on the small screen in the Apple TV+ show, set in Palm Beach high society in 1969. Wiig stars as Maxine Simmons, an ambitious woman who tries to scheme her way into the exclusive, and often treacherous, world.
“I just tried to do my best Chattanooga,” Wiig jokingly told The Hollywood Reporter of her pronounced accent in the series at the show’s Los Angeles premiere on Thursday. “Practiced in the mirror.”
Wiig also serves as an executive producer on the project and appears alongside a star-studded cast including Allison Janney, Laura Dern (who is also an EP), Carol Burnett, Leslie Bibb, Ricky Martin, Josh Lucas and Kaia Gerber. Besides the star power, a stand-out element of the series is its visuals, courtesy of production designer...

"The only thing that matters, is that you are a man that no one would expect." The Avenue has revealed an official trailer for an indie small town crime thriller titled Blood For Dust, set for release starting in April. The film premiered at the 2023 Tribeca Film Festival last year, and it played at a number of other festivals including Deauville, San Diego, and Raindance. Described as "Breaking Bad meets Fargo", it's yet another of these gritty films about a guy with a troubled past that catches up to him. The same story as so many other films. Cliff, a traveling salesman drowning under the weight of providing for his family and the myth of the American dream, finds himself on a dangerous path after a chance encounter with Ricky, a colleague from a dark past. Kit Harington and Scoot McNairy play old friends who reunite under dangerous circumstances in the first trailer for crime thriller Blood for Dust.
The Avenue is set to release director Rod Blackhurst’s feature in select theaters and on digital platforms April 19 following its premiere at last year’s Tribeca Festival. Josh Lucas and Stephen Dorff also star in Blood for Dust, which tells the story of Cliff (McNairy), a traveling salesman with financial issues who becomes enveloped in the world of drug trafficking after reuniting with Ricky (Harington).
“I don’t sell products that sell themselves,” Harington says in the trailer. This leads McNairy to respond, “You’re an arms dealer who sells drugs, Ricky.”
Blackhurst (Here Alone) helmed the film from a script by David Ebeltoft. Ryan Winterstern, Bernard Kira, Petr Jákl, Ari Novak, Arun Kumar, Bobby Campbell, Nathan Klingher, Mark Fasano and Noah Lang serve as producers.

Tired of being on the outside looking in, Kristen Wiig ventures over a garden wall to immerse herself in Palm Beach’s high society in the official trailer for Apple TV+’s Palm Royale. There, among the snobbish and the snooty, people like Maxine (Wiig) and Robert, a hyper-observant club employee played by Ricky Martin, shake up the status quo.
“I had only been in Palm Beach two weeks, but I already knew the Palm Royale — the most exclusive club in the world — was where I belonged,” Maxine narrates in the clip.
