Just heard the very sad news that dear Honor has died.
What a woman she was- fiercely bright, superbly funny and a wonderful actress on screen and onstage. I loved every day of working with her and I loved and respected her with all my heart

Elf the Musical could well be the most expensive West End show of all time.
Tickets to go and see the festive production in London this Christmas will set you back between £51.80 and £240 - and no, that isn't a typo.
As Time Out London reports, a family of four would have to spend £207.20 for nosebleed seats, or an absurd £960 for the best spot in the house.
The musical stars Ben Forster and Kimberley Walsh in the lead roles of Buddy the Elf and his sweetheart Jovie.
Meanwhile, The Bodyguard's Mark McKerracher will star as Santa Claus, while Joe McGann and Jessica Martin round out the main cast of the musical as the Hobbs family.
Elf the Musical is set to open for a ten-week run at the Dominion Theatre on October 24. Tickets are available now via the musical's official website.

Former Girls Aloud star Kimberley Walsh has joined the cast of the stage musical adaptation of Elf.
The singer joins Ben Forster, Joe McGann and Jessica Martin in the adaptation of the Will Ferrell Christmas movie, the Daily Mail reports.
Following its seasonal stints in Dublin and Plymouth, the play will have a ten-week run at London's Dominion Theatre.
Previews begin on October 24 before the official opening on November 5.
Written by Tony Award winners Thomas Meehan (Annie) and Bob Martin (The Drowsy Chaperone), the musical has songs penned by Matthew Sklar and Chad Beguelin.
The original 2003 film tells the tale of Buddy, an orphan who was raised as an elf in the North Pole. Now a man, the childlike Buddy arrives in New York in search of his father, before falling in love with an employee at a Santa's grotto.
The musical version opened on Broadway back in 2010, returning for another run two years later.

There's nothing we love more at Digital Spy - as you may have guessed from our previous Icons - than an old stager with a bit of fighting spirit and s***k to them. 84-year-old Honor Blackman epitomises the spark, beauty and vim we admire in our veteran showbiz stars. Best known for her work on The Avengers and as a Bond girl, our favourite memories of Mrs B come from her time on the often-derided ITV sitcom The Upper Hand. Blackman was the perfect fit for the role of man-eating Laura West, as she starred alongside Joe McGann and Diana Weston for 95 episodes in the (more)...
