She and husband Joseph Knedlhans operated the "Toy Robot and Pig
Museum" from which she retired in 1998.
Prior to her acting career, she worked as a fashion model and cover girl in New York. She started with the Ford Modeling Agency and appeared on the covers of such major fashion magazines as "Vogue" and "Mademoiselle".
