Anyone who has tried to secure tickets to a concert in recent years knows that the system is broken. Luckily, many top acts know it is broken, too, and want something done about it.
Over 250 artists, including Billie Eilish, Dave Matthews, Lorde, Sia, Train, Graham Nash, Green Day, Cyndi Lauper, Fall Out Boy, Chappell Roan, Becky G, Béla Fleck, Jason Mraz, Yes, Mgmt, Blue Öyster Cult and many others have lent their names to bills currently put before congress, the Fans First Act and The Ticket Act, which basically pokes holes in the current ticketing system that frequently drives up prices and creates an unfair secondary market. The bills by members of both parties, like Republican Texas senator John Cornyn and Democratic Minnesota senator Amy Klobuchar.
Currently, for any in-demand ticket, bots and bad actors are gobbling up inventory, then flipping them for high prices. Safeguards are in place—like...

Xochitl Gomez isn’t ready to leave the Dancing with the Stars ballroom.
“I don’t want this show to end, and I think it’s gonna be really good for me to keep coming back,” she joked after her big win during the finale. Her partner, Val Chmerkovskiy added: “We’ll be back here next week, just streaming on our socials.”
After redeeming their foxtrot and bringing it home with a fiery freestyle, Gomez and Chmerkovskiy received two back-to-back perfect scores from the judges. With their scores from the semifinals also included in their judges’ totals Tuesday night, they were the only couple to earn a perfect score of 120 across all four dances.
“Gosh, I didn’t think that [we did that]. I forgot until there had been like a little thing that said, this is your score something out of something, and it was the score. I was like, ‘What? We did that?...

Five couples went into Season 32 semi-finals “Dancing With the Stars” on Tuesday night, with only four slated to compete in the finale next week. But in a major twist, no one went home Tuesday night.
The final contestant’s slot came down to high scorers Ariana Madix and Xochitl Gomez and, to their enormous surprise, fans had voted them both through to the finale.
Alyson Hannigan, who ended the night with the lowest judges’ scores, was so convinced she was going home that she told partner Sasha Ferber after their elegant Waltz,” If that’s my last dance with you, I just want to tell you I just love you so much.” Hough said Hannigan’s the dance, set to “Come Away With Me.” “Comwas her best dance to date and Carrie Ann Inaba praised her “emotional vulnerability.

It’s the semi-finals, and boy does it feel like eons ago when poor Matt Walsh crashed and burned after only one night in the ballroom. Imagine if he had stayed and Harry Jowsey kicked the bucket early, instead! Oh, the laughs we would have had from the droll Veep star.
No use crying over spilled milk (especially when the golden bachelor seems to be doing that in every promo). This is Xochitl Gomez’s contest to lose, right? Let’s see if anyone came close to stealing her spotlight tonight.
Actress Alyson Hannigan (How I Met Your Mother) with partner Sasha Farber. Farber paid Hannigan the ultimate compliment by calling her the “true definition of Dancing with the Stars.” She’s the non-dancing celeb who actually improves over the course of the show. She’s living on borrowed time now, of course, and even the underdogs have to step...

After streaming exclusively on Disney+, the show returned to its original home on ABC (though still simulcast on the streaming service). This was also the first season of the show since the death of beloved head judge Len Goodman, though the show’s grand prize was renamed in his honor: it’s now the Len Goodman Mirror Ball Trophy. So who was sent home from the competition when and for which dances? Below, see the complete results of “DWTS” season 32, updated every week as additional couples are sent home.

Last week “Too Hot to Handle” reality TV personality Harry Jowsey was the ninth celebrity eliminated from “Dancing with the Stars,” leaving five to compete for the Len Goodman Mirror Ball Trophy: actress Xochitl Gomez, actress Alyson Hannigan, “The Bachelorette” alum Charity Lawson, “Vanderpump Rules” star Ariana Madix and singer-songwriter Jason Mraz. So what happens when those five perform two full routines on Semi-Finals night? Scroll down for our live blog with all the minute-by-minute developments and commentary as the night progresses.
Mirror Ball front-runner Xochitl is slated to dance a samba and a waltz. Samba is notoriously one of the hardest styles to learn and perform on “DWTS,” and Jason struggled with his on “Whitney Houston Night” before he came back with a vengeance on “A Celebration of Taylor Swift.” Will it challenge Xochitl just as much, or will it be child’s play for the 17-year-old actress?

After weeks of competition, the season 32 Dancing with the Stars semifinals has finally arrived. Five couples remain, including two pros who are married in real life. Are Daniella Karagach and Pasha Pashkov the first husband and wife pros to compete against one another in a DWTS semifinal competition?

As season 32 winds down, five celebrities and their pros remain. Reality star Ariana Madix and Pasha Pashkov, film star Xochitl Gomez and Val Chmerkovskiy, TV star Alyson Hannigan and Sasha Farber, Bachelorette star Charity Lawson and Artem Chigvintsev, and singer/songwriter Jason Mraz and Daniella Karagach.
While many pros are in relationships and several are married, none have made it to the semifinals of the ABC series as competitors. Daniella and Pasha are the first husband and wife to battle against one another with their respective celebrity partners.

“No hard feelings to the guy, but now we can actually focus on the dancing more than who’s got the rabid fan base that won’t stop voting people in,” says Gold Derby editor Daniel Montgomery about Harry Jowsey, a “Dancing with the Stars” fan-favorite who was ultimately eliminated in sixth place at the end of “A Celebration of Taylor Swift.” Montgomery discussed this and more with contributors Jeffrey Kare and Cordell Martin in this week’s slugfest. Watch their discussion above.
Martin was worried that Alyson Hannigan or Charity Lawson might be eliminated instead based on the combination of their judges’ scores and viewer votes, especially after host Alfonso Ribeiro noted that there were more votes on Swift night than any other night of the competition. After the elimination announcement, though, “I might have to be an honorary Swiftie. Like, Swifties, you guys did your thing. Kudos to you guys.

Normally, “Dancing with the Stars” wraps its season the week of Thanksgiving. But not this time. Season 32 is going so hard, it’ll finish two weeks after Turkey Day.
The final five couples will hit the hardwood twice on Tuesday’s semifinals with two individual routines — one ballroom and one Latin — to try to secure a spot in the finale. For the first time since the premiere, Jason Mraz will perform to one of his songs, “I Won’t Give Up,” for his Viennese waltz.
See the full list of dances below.
Individual routines
Xochitl Gomez and Val Chmerkovskiy: samba (“Samba” by Gloria Estefan) and waltz (“La Vie en Rose” by Lady Gaga)

Singer Jason Mraz, recalling his collaboration with Taylor Swift on the Swift-themed episode of ‘Dancing With the Stars’ said that it was wonderful to work with the singer for her ‘Speak Now’ tour in LA back in 2011.
Speaking to Page Six about the collaboration, the Grammy-winning singer reflected on his surprise guest appearance at the show and said: “It was so wonderful! She’s such a generous performer, sharing the stage with other artists and acknowledging her dancers and her crew,” Mraz, 46, recalled.
The two sang a duet of his hit song ‘I’m Yours’ at the Crypto.com Arena, previously known as the Staples Center.
Looking back at it, Mraz said: “It was nice to have experienced that myself and get to sing on a stage with her. She’s a real person and that’s what I love about her success.”

Admit it: you started this episode knowing who was going to go home, right?
If you are a true student of Dancing with the Stars, you should be able to predict the order in which the celebs are given the boot. Sure, there is the occasional misstep; many of you thought Barry Williams would be toast long ago, but the chipper senior actually made it to week 8, along with the inexplicably fortunate Harry Jowsey.
Williams is gone now, but Jowsey is not. Will his great luck finally run out tonight?
But wait! I should be saving space for the real star of the ballroom — Taylor Swift! Alas, the recording star didn’t show up in her Danskins. Instead, we got her music, her choregrapher Mandy Moore as a guest judge, and a pre-taped sorry y’all from Tay Tay herself: “I so wish I could be there, but I’m on tour in Brazil.

“The Brady Bunch” actor Barry Williams was eliminated in seventh place on “Dancing with the Stars” at the end of “Whitney Houston Night.” Did he deserve to exit the competition? Not according to the fans we polled. More than 90% responded that the wrong celebrity went home. Who should’ve left instead? I think we all know the answer to that.
I for one thought Williams would survive the night. He performed a solid if not show-stopping rumba with his pro partner Peta Murgatroyd that scored eights across the board. But then he brought the house down during his dance-off against Jason Mraz. The 69-year-old actor boldly flung open his shirt during their head-to-head salsas and was so enthusiastic during the dance that he had the crowd chanting his name. Even though he lacked Mraz’s polished technique, the judges declared him the winner of the dance-off anyway. So when he was eliminated soon thereafter,...

“It’s at this point of the race that it’s like, okay, he seems like a really nice guy, but there are some really good dancers on the show who he has outlasted. And I kind of want his run to end before it gets sour,” argues Gold Derby editor Daniel Montgomery about Harry Jowsey, who has made it to the top six on “Dancing with the Stars” over celebs who consistently outscored him like Mira Sorvino, Lele Pons and Barry Williams. “He continues to endure in the competition based entirely on viewer votes.” Watch Montgomery’s latest video slugfest about “Whitney Houston Night” with Gold Derby contributors Jeffrey Kare and Cordell Martin above.

ABC’s Dancing with the Stars honors one of the hottest stars on the planet, Taylor Swift, with an episode featuring some of her greatest hits. Subsequently, her Eras Tour choreographer, Mandy Moore, will join the judging panel to offer her “Taylor-made” critiques of the remaining six couples.
How many of Taylor Swift’s songs will be used on ‘Dancing with the Stars?’
Dancing with the Stars has kept the songs featured during Taylor Swift night on the down low. However, there are some facts that Showbiz Cheat Sheet does know.
Taylor Swift Night will feature each of the six remaining couples dancing individually and three relay dances with another pair. That means nine songs from Taylor’s catalog should be performed.
While it is likely that many of Taylor Swift’s more popular songs will be heard, the series could also surprise fans with a few lesser-known tracks during the performances.

I thought for sure Barry Williams would survive elimination on “Dancing with the Stars” after his two gutsy performances on “Whitney Houston Night.” The 69-year-old “Brady Bunch” actor performed a rumba with pro partner Peta Murgatroyd and then went bare-chested for his salsa in a dance-off against musician Jason Mraz. But despite winning that dance-off in an upset and thus moving up a spot on the judges’ leaderboard, his viewer votes weren’t enough to keep him in the competition. Watch his salsa above, and scroll down to see his rumba.

Barry Williams isn’t going home with the Len Goodman Mirror Ball trophy now that he and pro dance partner Peta Murgatroyd have been eliminated from Season 32 of Dancing With the Stars. However, he’s headed back to Branson, Missouri with something even better – the knowledge he’s entertained millions of DWTS fans and proven that guys in their 60s can still go shirtless! The Brady Bunch star not only increased his scores from last week, earning a 32 for his and Murgatroyd’s rumba, but the pair also picked up an additional three points for impressing the judges in a salsa dance off against Jason Mraz and his pro partner Daniella Karagach. Judge Derek Hough, who’s touring across the country with his dance show Derek Hough A Symphony of Dance, has said that Williams is the most popular contestant this season. “That made me feel great,” Williams told TV Insider after the show.

The Knockout rounds continued on Tuesday’s (November 14) episode of The Voice, with one performance, in particular, leaving the coaches, especially John Legend, in floods of tears. Lennon VanderDoes from Team Niall took to the stage to deliver an emotional performance of Jason Mraz‘s “I Won’t Give Up,” which not only received high praise from the coaches but reduced Legend and Gwen Stefani to tears. “Ever since I became a dad, I definitely cry a lot more than I used to. It’s hitting me more,” said Legend, who shares four children with his wife, Chrissy Teigen. “I just felt you being fully yourself, and it felt so moving to me. I don’t know why I keep crying. I can’t stop,” the “Ordinary People” singer continued, telling VanderDoes that he sees him as his team’s “underdog.” Stefani was also in tears, and fellow coach Reba McEntire...

I will be looking for connection and I will be looking for intention.”
Not said but it was surely implied: Be kind to the memory of Ms. Houston, y’all!

The end of Season 24’s Knockouts on The Voice wasn’t necessarily the end of the line for four lucky eliminees. Following a particularly excellent three-way sing-off, Carson Daly informed coaches John Legend, Gwen Stefani, Niall Horan and Reba McEntire of a change to the rules that allowed them each to invite one contestant back to the show. Who were their picks? That, we won’t find out until Monday’s episode. In the meantime, let’s recap what may have been the KOs’ best night.

“The Brady Bunch” star Barry Williams was inspired by TV mom Florence Henderson to go on “Dancing With the Stars,” he told TheWrap in an interview last week.
Henderson, who played mom Carol Brady on the ’70s sitcom, competed in Season 11 of the ABC competition. “She was my inspiration,” he said. When asked if he thinks of the actress, who died on Nov. 24, 2016, whenever he hits the dance floor, he answered, “Yes. Every week.”
Williams visited the set in 2010 to watch Henderson rehearse and perform. “I was really taken with it,” he said. “She had always mentored me in one way or another. She knew that I had been active theatrically in a lot of musicals, and she thought this would be a great fit for me. I got the bug, and she made me promise to go for it.”
