- Jester Naefe was born on September 12, 1924 in Vienna, Austria. She was an actress, known for Wer bist du, den ich liebe? (1949), Das Kreuz am Jägersteig (1954) and Sand, Love and Salt (1957). She was married to Alfred Tauszky. She died on July 6, 1967 in Geretsried, Bavaria, Germany.

- During the shooting of Sand, Love and Salt (1957) she had a fight scene with Isabelle Corey. Naefe stumbled and hit the ground hard with the back of her head. She was very seriously injured. After this accident she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Confined to a wheelchair, then to her bed, crippled and partially blind, she hardly left her room. She allegedly died alone, neglected by friends.
