Renny Harlin's "The Strangers: Chapter 1" is the third film in the "Strangers" series, but is intended to be the first film in a new rebooted trilogy sporting a unique continuity. Not that "The Strangers" possessed a complicated mythology; each movie follows a trio of mute, masked killers -- perhaps a family -- who have made a sport of breaking into people's houses and torturing them for kicks. In the credits of "Chapter 1," the killers are credited only as Dollface, Pin-Up Girl, and Scarecrow (previously called The Man in the Mask). This time around, they are played by Olivia Kreutzova, Letizia Fabbri, and Matúš Lajčák, respectively.
The plot of "Chapter 1" is as simple as can be: A young city couple (Madelaine Petsch and Froy Gutierrez) is driving to Portland, Oregon when they get waylaid in a small town called Venus. Naturally, their car breaks down and they have to...

Food Influencer Brad Leone Hopes to ‘Teach Viewers to Eat Better’ With New YouTube Shows (Exclusive)
Brad Leone, best known for his work at Bon Appétit on “Test Kitchen” and “It’s Alive,” announced on Monday that he’s launching two new shows, “Local Legends” and “Makin’ It,” both of which debut Monday, June 5 on his YouTube channel.
Speaking to TheWrap ahead of the launch announcement, the New York Times-bestselling author said, “The series are about the behind-the-scenes: where food comes from, the importance of people. Maybe I just want to teach viewers to eat better, to cook better, to try cooking. I always tell people they are better at cooking than they probably think they are. The first pancake is never the best, and so you keep trying and have fun. It’s all part of the adventure.”
Described as a “community guide” rather than a city guide, “Local Legends” follows Leone as he explores “new people, places, cultures, products and foods.” New episodes will be...

So, are movie audiences ready for another flick about good looking women being very, very bad? Well, not as bad say as the ladies of The Kitchen. Nobody’s getting whacked or having their legs broken. The dudes in this romp do wake up with some major hangovers (physical and financial). Now don’t get this confused with this past Summer’s similarly-titled The Hustle. This new flick has no wacky slapstick hi-jinks. And it’s based an original story, a magazine article, while the former was a remake…of a remake, showing us that “third time’ was definitely not “the charm”. And instead of the swanky hotels and casinos on the French Rivera, we see the inner working of an NYC “high-end” “gentleman’s club”. The “entertainers’ that work there desperately want to leave the “life”. But they’ve got to be more than “classy exotic dancers’, these ladies have to be Hustlers.

Tyra Banks is replaceable ... at least according to honchos at the "FABLife." We're told the show's got a long list of celebs -- all with hosting experience -- who are in the running to fill Banks' shoes after her heated and abrupt departure. The names include Naomi Campbell, Heidi Klum, Christina Milian, Sherri Shepherd, Rocco Dispirito, Tori Spelling and Kiki Palmer. We're told there's no frontrunner but most of those on the list have expressed interest.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is "The Terminator." No, really.
According to Deadline, the former Governor, who is making his long-awaited return to the big screen, will revive the legendary franchise that kept his status as a bona fide action star intact throughout the '80s and '90s. While there's no writer yet attached to the project, "Fast Five" director Justin Lin could helm the next installment of the "Terminator" saga, which will -- say it with me -- bring Arnold "baaahk."
Check out the rest of Tuesday's biggest casting news from Hollywood, including additions to "The Hunger Games," as well as a plea from Kristen Bell to appear in the big screen adaptation.
Welcome To District 3
You may not know the names of the District 3 competitors in "The Hunger Games," but now you'll know the names of the actors who will play the youngsters called into the reaping: Ian Nelson and Kalia Prescott.
