The world woke up to the sad news this morning that Supremes singer Mary Wilson died of unknown causes at her home in Henderson, Nevada. She was 76.

Street Light Harmonies will focus on music and influential musicians that defined doo-wop.
The Beach Boys' Brian Wilson and Al Jardine, Nsync's Lance Bass, and The Flamingos' Terry Johnson will participate in the doc that is being directed by Brent Wilson.

The life and four-decade musical legacy of Grammy Award winner Natalie Cole was celebrated Monday morning at West Angeles Church of God in Christ in Los Angeles. Among the R&B icon’s friends spotted at the 11 a.m. funeral service that was open to the public: singers Johnny Mathis, Smokey Robinson, Stevie Wonder, Lionel Richie, the O'Jays' Eddie Levert, Mary Wilson, Gladys Knight, Ledisi, Freda and Scherrie Payne and producer David Foster. London, Aug 07: George Duke, the Grammy-winning jazz keyboardist and producer, who collaborated with Frank Zappa during the 1970s, has died at St John's hospital in Los Angeles on Wednesday. He was 67.
The news was confirmed by former Supremes singer Scherrie Payne, the BBC reported.
Duke's latest album, 'DreamWeaver', was released in July, as a tribute to his wife Corine, who died from cancer a year ago.
Duke was an accomplished musician across multiple genres, including jazz, funk and R 'n' B, and released more than 30 solo albums.
His work has also been sampled by musicians such as Kanye West and Ice Cube.
