- Brian Pillman makes the list of a long line of tragic deaths in wrestling. He had endured 36 throat operations as a child. Pillman played football in the NFL for the Cincinnati Bengals in 1984 and in the CFL for the Calgary Stampeders. It was in Calgary where he met Owen Hart (who also died at a relatively early age) and started his wrestling career for Stampede Wrestling. Pillman's major titles include the Tag Team Championship, the US Tag Team Championship, and the Light Heavyweight Championship. Pillman also suffered a terrible broken leg that deeply hurt his career. He died at the age of 35 while still being an active wrestler in the World Wrestling Federation.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Anonymous
- Brian Pillman was born in 1962 in Norwood, Ohio, a suburb of Cincinnati. He was raised mainly by his mother. He was born with throat cancer and had over 30 operations before the age of 3. He was a high school star and later a college football star at Miami University of Ohio. Later he played briefly for his hometown Cincinnati Bengals in 1984. In 1986 he broke his ankle and started working as a professional wrestler, making it into WCW in 1989. He worked initially as the popular Flyin' Brian, working many excellent matches with such legends as Sting, Ric Flair, Arn Anderson & Ricky Steamboat. He worked the first match ever on TNT's WCW Monday Nitro (1995), an excellent match against Jushin Liger. He then developed the character of "The Loose Cannon," in which he acted insane on the TV programs (even showing up on WCW's rival ECW's television program Eastern Championship Wrestling (1993). He soon after this quit WCW and went to work for the WWF, but after injuring his ankle again (this time in a car accident) his career was stunted. Tragically, he was found dead in his hotel room, near several bottles of pills and an empty beer can (though his death is not believed a suicide) right before he was supposed to wrestle on the _WWF Bad Blood: In Your House (1997) (V)_ Pay Per View. He was 35, and a father of five.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Anonymous
