- Jindrich Polák was born on May 5, 1925 in Prague, Czechoslovakia [now Czech Republic]. He was a writer and director, known for The Sky Riders (1968), Death of Hitch-Hikers (1979) and The Visitors (1983). He died on August 22, 2003 in Prague, Czech Republic.
