Prism Comics is dedicated to supporting lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (Lgbt) comics, creators and fans. Every year, they have a major presence at Comic-Con International, the largest comics and pop-culture event in North America. They sell and promote Lgbt comics, organize and moderate panel discussions (a record four panels are planned for this year) and sponsor social events. This year, their hub for all this activity will be a three-booth exhibition space in the main publisher area of the convention floor.
This year, they will be hosting almost dozen talented Lgbt cartoonists as partners in our exhibition space. This enables these indie creators to have a major presence at the Con in a high-traffic area—neighboring heavy-hitters like Marvel and DC Comics—where they can introduce their work to lots of new fans and pay a cost much, much lower than it would be for them to buy their...

I can’t believe another Comic-Con is almost upon us. That whole, odd, everything goes faster when you are older thing really is rather annoying. Not that I don’t like Cc… it’s a fairly mind boggling event when you think about it… it’s just that I could have sworn I was just there.
This year is going to be different for two reasons. One, for the first part of the festival, I’ll get to show the insanity off to Timo Descamps and Danny De Jong. It’s going to be their last look at America for the year; they wing their way home to Belgium from San Diego. They already think we Americans are a bit… unique. It will be interesting to hear their opinions after they see throngs of armored, light-saber weilding, Pikachu’s dancing with thong-clad Skeletors and leather-bra wearing Conans.

We’ve received all the covers for DC Comics July solicitations, including the long awaited Games, the New Teen Titans graphic novel from Marv Wolfman and George Pérez. And when I say long awaited, I mean two decades long– which kinda ties in with all the DC Retroactive titles coming out, including our favorite, Green Lantern reuniting the team of ComicMix contributors Dennis O’Neil and Mike Grell.
Take a look.

One of my favorite shows, perhaps ever, Psych returns tonight, and James Roday and Steve Franks held a Q & A recently to discuss the new season.
There is really nothing like Psych, and there is nothing like an interview with James Roday on the line. Normally, I would trim up an interview, but I can’t bring myself to do it with James in the conversation. These calls are too much fun.
Because of that, I’m just going to jump right into it, and let you have fun, but I would be remiss if I didn’t give you a link as well. I talked with James before the start of last season, and stayed away from talking about the show itself as much as possible. It turned into a great conversation, and I got the chance to share a lot of great insight into his tastes in things on screens.
