His ancestry is Greek Jewish (grandmother -father side ), Romanian Jewish (grandfather -father side), Ukraine Jewish (Grandfather -mother side) & Lithuanian Jewish (grandmother - mother's side).
Greg first tree planting mission began back in 1991 at UMASS Amherst, where he planted over 500 trees in Israel with JNF-Jewish National Fund.
Greg's feature documentary debut - "Hollywood's Magical Island - Catalina" was narrated by Peter Coyote.. Greg credits his mentor and casting legend Mike Fenton for landing Peter for the narrator's role who Mike Fenton also casted as the father in E.T.
Greg joined the DGA - Director's Guild of America in 2010.
