New Delhi, Oct 15 (Ians) Amid some media reports that the Central Bureau of Investigation (Cbi) is likely to file a closure report in Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death case, the federal agency on Thursday refuted the claims and said that such reports are "erroneous" and the investigation is still continuing.
Cbi spokesperson R.K. Gaur said in a statement, "Cbi continues to investigate the death of Sushant. There are certain speculative reports in the media that the Cbi has reached a conclusion. It may be reiterated that these reports are speculative and erroneous."
The remarks came amid media speculation that the agency will be filing a closure report soon.
Earlier, the forensic team of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (Aiims) led by Sudhir Gupta had ruled out the murder angle in the actor's death case.

Mumbai, Oct 14 (Ians) The Enforcement Directorate (Ed) on Wednesday carried out searches at four locations linked to filmmaker Dinesh Vijan in connection with its probe into the money laundering angle in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case.
An Ed source said currently the agency was carrying out searches in four locations linked to Vijan.
The source refused to share further details.
However, Ians tried to contact Vijan and a reply from him was awaited.
Vijan debuted with "Raabta" as a film director. Sushant starred along with Kirti Sanon in "Raabta", which was released in 2017. Vijan was also the co-producer of the movie. The film bombed at the box office.

The Forensic Department of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (Aiims), which has been roped in by the Central Bureau of Investigation (Cbi) to give medico-legal opinion in Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death case, still needs to look into some legal aspects before reaching a "logical legal conclusion".
"Aiims and Cbi are in agreement on the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, but more deliberations are needed. There is a need to look into some legal aspects for a logical legal conclusion," Sudhir Gupta, Chairman of Aiims Forensic Medical Board, told Ians.
