"Harry Potter" actor Daniel Radcliffe is in negotiations to star in BBC Films' "Grand Theft Auto," a film about the true story fight between the creator of "Grand Theft Auto" and a Miami lawyer who aimed to ban video game violence.
Radcliffe will play Sam Houser, the British co-founder and president of Rockstar Games which created the giant gaming franchise along with popular titles like "Max Payne" and "Red Dead Redemption".
Houser is credited in popularizing GTA into one of the biggest entertainment franchises ever made, but also for amping up violence in video games. Last decade Houser and Rockstar Games came under repeated attacks from unorthodox Florida activist attorney Jack Thompson who was later disbarred in 2008 for inappropriate behavior.
British director Owen Harris ("Misfits," "Black Mirror") is helming the drama while James Wood wrote the script and Jim Spencer is producing. Filming is slated to begin on April 20th.

Even though it may seem hard to believe, it has now been 30 years since Joe Dante first introduced us to the world of Kingston Falls and an adorable little Mogwai, named Gizmo, who would forever change it after being gifted to one of its residents as a Christmas present in Gremlins.
Daily Dead recently chatted with special effects pioneer Chris Walas to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Gremlins, which took place over the weekend. Walas is the mastermind behind Gizmo and his Gremlin counterparts, and was also tasked with the various puppetry and f/x approaches that Dante would need in order to sell the authenticity of the Mogwai running amok.
In this second part of our interview with Walas, he discusses the challenges he faced using some of the more inventive puppetry he created for the film, what his favorite Gremlin is and gives us a rundown of two...

The end of pre-season is fast approaching, Huddersfield decided to round it off in style with a home friendly fixture against Barcelona B. A total of seven thousand nine hundred fans witnessed a Town side lose to an extremely well disciplined Barcelona B team 2-0.
Despite showing some very good ball retention skills Huddersfield managed to hold off their opponents to the end of the first half where the scores were level at 0-0. Honours even at the break it was quite clear that a young newly formed Huddersfield side were finding it difficult to put together any sort of flowing movement to break through a stubborn Spanish resistance.
The usually bright Jordan Rhodes was unable to show his prolific form that he showed in League One and the ever hardworking Lee Novak was not able to grab a foothold in the game. The second period saw Barcelona make eight...

Rocky
Times like these, I hate reviewing classic films. What can I add that hasn’t already been said or covered about the 1976 Best Picture winner? Well, other than what film should have won it, but Rocky is a more than worthy candidate for the statue. It sometimes gets criticism for not showing enough of the epic fight at the end, but I feel that’s a brilliant move as we know these men will go the distance. The performances are excellent, the direction is up to par, and the story is a timeless classic. Truthfully, the alternate ending where Rocky throws the fight would have been interesting to see.
9/10
Rocky II
I’d forgotten what a depressing trip this was, which makes Rocky’s eventual win that much sweeter by the end of the film. This marked Sylvester Stallone’s second directorial debut and for the most part he...
