Planet Fury contributor Kelly Stewart has organized a new film festival in Toronto called Fright Nights: The Blood in the Snow Canadian Film Festival.
The festival will take place over one weekend (November 30 through December 1, 2012) and celebrate the best in contemporary Canadian horror filmmaking. Stewart runs the monthly Toronto “Fright Nights” film series of horror screenings and is a notable voice on Canadian horror (read his article about the current top Canadian horror filmmakers).
Stewart says, "The festival program is a logical extension of my monthly Fright Nights series. It is no secret that there is wealth of Canadian talent out there right now but with no proper festival in Canada to showcase their own. So it felt like the right time to start this up."
The festival will feature five films with stories ranging from zombie infections (Sick), psychological thrills (In the House of Flies) and dark sci-fi (Beyond the Black Rainbow...
