In August of 1996, was appointed Minister of Consumer and Commercial
Relations in the Government of Ontario; as such, he was responsible for
the Ontario Film Review Board (OFRB), which censors films that are
deemed offensive to "contemporary provincial moral standards".
On June 8, 1995, was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Ontario as
Member of Provincial Parliament (M.P.P.) for Markham.
On June 8, 1995, David Tsubouchi was elected to the provincial
parliament of Ontario, Canada, and named to Premier Mike Harris's
cabinet as Minister for Community and Social Services.
