Sharon Osbourne is recalling The Talk incident from 2021, which led to her firing, and says she regrets apologizing to Sheryl Underwood.
In a new interview, Osbourne wishes she hadn’t taken her kids’ advice in apologizing to her CBS daytime talk show co-host after a heated discussion about race.
“I apologized to her, I didn’t want to because I felt I didn’t do anything wrong,” Osbourne said on The Sage Steele Show. “But my kid said to me, ‘Just apologize to her. Maybe you’re wrong and she read you wrong or something, just in case, apologize.’ And I did. I apologized to her. I called her. She wouldn’t pick up my calls and then she lied and said I never apologized. I have it all documented on my phone. You can never say that anymore because your a** is busted.”

Sharon Osbourne Feels She Is Banned From The USA
“I got banned in America,” she said during a conversation with fellow housemates Lauren Simon and Louis Walsh. “I can legally, but nobody will employ me because they say I’m racist.”
Her mates from the house supported her and insisted there was no way she was racist, especially since she was from a minority group herself.

Exclusive: The Talk may be wrapping up after 15 seasons in December, but Executive Producer Rob Crabbe and his team are not going down without a fight.

Hosts Sheryl Underwood, Natalie Morales, Jerry O’Connell, Akbar Gbajabiamila and Amanda Kloots will move off stage so the set can be transformed into a comedy club. The featured standup will then perform a 5-minute set for the audience.
“I am excited to bring two things I love together — standup comedy and The Talk,” Underwood, who’s a comedian herself, tells Deadline. “This is the first time The Talk has done a standup series, but it won’t be the last. See you every Friday!”

“The Talk” is going silent. CBS is ending the long-running daytime chat show, which will get an abbreviated final season (its 15th) this fall, before signing off for good with what it’s calling a “celebratory sendoff” in December.

The news comes as CBS and the NAACP are developing a new daytime soap opera under their content partnership, “The Gates,” a partnership with P&g Studios, a division of Procter & Gamble. “The Gates,” which “follows the lives of a wealthy Black family in a posh, gated community,” is seen as a potential replacement for “The Talk.”

On the Monday, March 4 episode of “The Talk,” “The Bold and the Beautiful” star Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy Forrester) sat down with co-hosts Amanda Kloots and Sheryl Underwood to discuss the latest developments on the daytime drama series, particularly Steffy stabbing Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown).
In response to the show deciding to kill off the iconic villain, Wood said, “I was in complete shock…but like Steffy, I mean, ding-dong the witch is dead. This is what needed to happen. As for Steffy’s husband, who also happens to be Sheila’s biological son, Wood notes, “Steffy needs Finn [Tanner Novlan] to man up. She needs her man to stand up for what is going on because it’s absolutely crazy. Sheila terrorized their family for so long, so, and Steffy honestly doesn’t want to have to murder Finn, too!”

It may have looked like a big transition for Rob Crabbe — jumping from late night where he ran The Late Late Show with James Corden for eight years to executive producing his first daytime show, The Talk — but the veteran showrunner was actually more anxious about the live aspect of his new gig at CBS.
“When we were making Corden, we thought that show could work any time of the day, and so we were making it for any type of audience and we wanted people to be able to enjoy it at lunch on their computer or watch it on linear television at night,” says Crabbe, who began his new gig in the fall of 2023. “But in late night, you shoot a show at 5 p.m. and you have it on the air about three and a half hours later. With daytime, you get fired out of a cannon at 11 a.

Taylor Swift, Beyoncé and other music stars served as major sources of inspiration behind the Halloween costumes displayed on morning and daytime talk shows this year.
Three shows featured hosts dressing up as Swift, with Today‘s Savannah Guthrie, Live‘s Kelly Ripa and The Talk‘s Amanda Kloots all dressing as the superstar singer-songwriter, with the latter two also passing out friendship bracelets in an ode to Swift’s hit Eras tour.
Live With Kelly and Mark took the Swift inspiration one step further, dubbing their annual Halloween extravaganza The Eras Show as they looked back through different decades of pop culture and of Live‘s own onscreen Halloween celebrations. While Ripa and Consuelos kicked things off with their take on the Barbie movie, they doled out friendship bracelets in an homage to Swift and spoke about the Eras tour inspiration for their show.

CBS’s The Talk is returning for Season 14 on Monday, October 9. The show’s panel remains the same as Akbar Gbajabiamila, Amanda Kloots, Natalie Morales, Jerry O’Connell, and Sheryl Underwood are all returning but there will be some changes to the show under the guidance of new executive producer Rob Crabbe, formerly of The Late Late Show With James Corden. The Talk was just one of several talk shows that delayed returns due to the writers’ strike, which is over, with the WGA’s ratification vote for the new deal with the AMPTP set for October 2-9. The daytime show shared the news on its Instagram alongside a photo of its hosts, Akbar Gbajabiamila, Amanda Kloots, Sheryl Underwood, Jerry O’Connell, and Natalie Morales (above). The Talk is finally coming back.
The CBS daytime talk show has set its season premiere – returning on Monday October 9.
It comes after much back and forth for the show, as a result of the writers strike and the fallout that involved a slew of daytime shows including The Drew Barrymore Show, which had planned to return before the writers had a deal.
Deadline revealed on September 9 that The Talk was planning to return on September 18.
However, a week later, after WGA picketers had targeted the show outside CBS Radford and Barrymore had been shamed into postponing her own return, The Talk decided to postpone its comeback.

Julie Chen Moonves lamented Sharon Osbourne’s public firing from “The Talk” during an appearance on “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen” Tuesday night.
The “Big Brother” host addressed the controversy after taking a fan questions about the last time she had spoken with her former “Talk” colleague, criticizing the way producers of the daytime talk show handled the aftermath of a tense conversation between Osbourne and Sheryl Underwood that led to the latter’s exit from the daytime talker.
“I think the whole thing was handled really horribly… I don’t think people knew what they were doing and [what they were] getting themselves into. The whole thing was a horrible mess,” Chen Moonves said. “It was [like] watching a train wreck.”
Chen Moonves added she had last spoken with Osbourne eight months after the controversial discussion, after she had seen a photo of daughter Kelly Osbourne looking “healthy and beautiful” that inspired her to reach out.

Daytime TV viewers won’t see The Drew Barrymore Show return tomorrow, Monday, September 18, nor will they see The Talk’s new season. CBS, which airs The Talk, announced on Sunday, September 17 that the talk show “is pausing its season premiere scheduled for September 18,” adding that the network “will continue to evaluate plans for a new launch date” for Season 14, per Deadline. CBS’ decision to pull the Season 14 premiere came after Writers Guild members picketed a rehearsal on Wednesday, and it comes just hours after Drew Barrymore backtracked her decision to bring The Drew Barrymore Show back on September 18, choosing to delay the premiere following intense criticism from celebrities and fans alike. Just days ago — on Thursday, September 14 — CBS was hyping up The Talk’s Season 14 in a press release, listing five days of all-new episodes starting on Monday. Longtime panelist Sheryl Underwood is booked to return for the show’s 14th season,...
