Versini was brought to Germany by the director Rolf Thiele to co-star opposite Thomas Fritsch in "Das schwarz-weiß-rote Himmelbett". She subsequently stayed on to partner Pierre Brice as Winnetou's sister in several Karl May adaptations, a role which she later regretted accepting since she felt being typecast by it.
