- Andréas Voutsinas was born on August 22, 1930 in Khartoum, Sudan. He was an actor and director, known for The Producers (1967), History of the World: Part I (1981) and The Big Blue (1988). He died on June 8, 2010 in Athens, Greece.
- Met Jane Fonda at the Actors Studio and was her acting coach on a number of films including Barbarella (1968).
- Ran an acting workshop Theatre Des Cinquante in Paris, France, along the lines of Lee Strasberg's Actor's Studio where he was enrolled in the 1960s.
