Chicago Fire aired a new episode that featured Kelly Severide, but Chief Boden was absent again.
Much of the latest episode featured Severide (Taylor Kinney) trying to stop a trio of domestic terrorists.
Truck 81 was stolen from Firehouse 51 in the middle of the night, and Severide was along for the ride. It turned out that the trio of gunmen who stole it were planning to turn it into a bomb.
When Stella Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo) woke up later that evening, she discovered that Severide and Truck 81 were missing, leading to an intense investigation.
Chief Boden and Severide were gone, leaving Kidd to take the lead at the firehouse as Chicago P.D. was called in to help.
Severide stopped the terrorists, and the team came to his rescue as the episode ended, but Boden was still Mia.

After a handful of lukewarm episodes so far this season, Chicago Fire has finally delivered the heat we've been missing.
It's been a while since we've been this invested in an hour of TV, but Chicago Fire Season 12 Episode 11 was intense and kept us on the edge of our seats.
We also finally got a taste of the Stellaride vibes we've been missing for so long!
We got a much-needed look into our favorite characters who haven't been given much emotional content to work with this season.
Stella's reaction to Severide's situation reminded us that these two actually do share more than a locker room. The rest of the crew showed how much they cared about Kelly, too.
One of the resounding themes from "The Wrong Guy" was the mystery surrounding two of Chicago Fire's newest characters: Jack Damon and Lyla Novak.

FBI: International said goodbye to another original star on Tuesday evening, and to our surprise, nothing happened to indicate Scott Forrester’s (Luke Kleintank) story was over.
As Monsters and Critics previously reported, the actor opted to depart the CBS procedural of his own volition.
Given Forrester’s lack of closure, there’s a good chance Kleintank wasn’t interested in returning to film an on-screen goodbye.
The latest episode of FBI: International found Forrester continuing his investigation into the case that’s been plaguing him all season, so it’s possible his arc could be a loose end that continues in the hopes the actor returns down the line.
Losing Forrester is another significant loss for the team after Heida Reed’s Agent Kellett was written out of the Dick Wolf drama earlier this season.

The thought of losing any of our favorite Chicago Fire characters is painful, but this one cuts extra deep.
Eamonn Walker, who has portrayed Wallace Boden for the series' entire run, has announced his plans to step back from the show.
We're told that he intends to stay involved on some level, but 51 as we know it won't be the same.
Boden's absence has already been felt in the recent episodes, during which the chief was dealing with personal family issues and taking time off work.
Losing this character is a huge hit for the series. Chicago Fire is currently in its 12th season, and Chief Boden has been a staple for every single season so far.
What does this mean for 51? There's a lot we don't know, but here's what's been announced so far:

So it’s only natural to feel sad or angry when finding out some of your beloved characters will never appear in the show anymore. And needless to say Chicago Fire fans went through a pretty nervous path with the show’s latest casting changes. And apparently there’s more coming.
Deadline discovered that the show’s regular, Eamonn Walker, who was playing boss Wallace Boden from episode 1 season 1 is leaving his current position in the show. For 12 seasons the fans were seeing him make tough decisions and try to be reasonable in all sorts of unimaginable situations.

Some disappointing Chicago Fire spoilers have just been revealed.
Eamonn Walker, who has played Chief Boden on the NBC drama for 12 years, is out as a series regular.

Chicago Fire is losing another original cast member. Eamonn Walker, who has starred as Wallace Boden since the series premiere, will be leaving the NBC drama in the Season 12 finale, according to Deadline. It said to be his decision, and there is some good news: According to the report, we don’t have to worry about him dying in a season-ending emergency and he “is expected” to be back on a recurring basis. This does make it sound like the once Battalion Chief and now Deputy District Chief may very well be the next Deputy Commissioner. He is on the shortlist for the gig, and according to the logline for the May 22 final, “Never Say Goodbye”—in which he’ll appear, following Boden taking time off to help his stepson—he will be making a decision that impacts the race for that position. Sound the alarm — Chicago Fire is hitting 250 episodes. The firefighter drama that kicked off Dick Wolf’s One Chicago franchise on NBC back in 2012 is still going strong in Season 12. In a Today interview from 2021 — when Chicago Fire was celebrating its 200th episode — star Taylor Kinney attributed the show’s success to the “sense of family” and the “chemistry of the cast” that Wolf, an executive producer, helped cultivate. “People see the way we get along,” he said. “It’s a tight-knit group.” But which episodes are the best of the best? Before The Sopranos, Game of Thrones, Six Feet Under, The Wire, or any of the other popular HBO shows, there was Oz. The one-hour drama chronicled the lives of the staff and inmates at the Oswald State Correctional Facility, a maximum security penitentiary home to the most violent offenders in the state. It’s been over twenty years since the series concluded, but creator Tom Fontana is back with an Oz short film starring Lee Tergesen as Tobias Beecher and Dean Winters as Ryan O’Reily.
Titled Zo, the short film actually premiered at the Atx Festival in 2021, but few people were able to see it. Thankfully, Zo will premiere on YouTube on May 1st, giving fans around the world the chance to finally see it. According to Kirk Acevado, who starred in Oz as Miguel Alvarez, it could even lead to a sequel series if the short film gets enough buzz.

Chicago Fire introduced a new paramedic during the latest episode. It has already caused drama at Firehouse 51.
It was clear that things would get tricky after Sylvie Brett left the job, but the new Paramedic In Charge, Violet Mikami, couldn’t find a rhythm with the new person sitting next to her in Ambulance 61.
Wesam Keesh has joined the Chicago Fire cast as Jared Lennox. The character seems to know his stuff but also has a penitent for asking questions at the wrong time.
During one call, Lennox let the wife of their patient know that Violet was new to the job. It caused the woman to question Violet’s abilities.
Violet appeared very stressed that Lennox was undermining her, and when she chastised him about it later, she also told Lennox he had received his second strike on the job.

Chicago Fire recently introduced an intense story about Chief Boden and his family.
The new episode from February 7 had Boden’s stepson popping up at Firehouse 51. Jimmy was there to ask for help.

The relationship between Boden (played by Eamonn Walker) and Shonda (Shanesia Davis) didn’t last long. It was a young romance that was done before Chicago Fire Season 1.
The Chicago Fire writers introduced someone new for Chief Wallace Boden in Season 2, and a whirlwind romance began.
Boden and Donna Robbins (Melissa Ponzio) hit it off quickly. One episode focused on Boden proposing, and the Season 2 finale for Chicago Fire featured Donna and Boden’s wedding.
Is Chief Boden still married on Chicago Fire?
Yes, Boden is still married. Donna is still his wife, and they have a son named Terrance.

Chicago Fire — — Pictured: Eamonn Walker as Chief Wallace Boden — (Photo by: Adrian S Burrows Sr/NBC) With Chicago Fire now in its 12th season on NBC, Eamonn Walker is one of just three remaining cast members — along with Taylor Kinney and David Eigenberg — who’s been a series regular since the very beginning. Although there have obviously been plenty of cast changes through the years (there have been 20 series regulars over the course of the show), Walker said that the one thing that’s remained constant through all 12 seasons has been the sense of camaraderie the cast has shared on the set. In “On the Hook,” Brett (Kara Killmer) and Violet’s (Hanako Greensmith) defibrillator malfunctions on a call, and they look for answers. The promo offers a look at just that. “There has to be an explanation for what went wrong,” Violet says. Boden (Eamonn Walker) warns Brett, “if this is human error…” but she knows that, as Paramedic in Charge, “I’m on the hook.” (Violet will take over as Pic once Brett leaves.) Watch the full video above. But remember: Promos can be misleading, to surprise viewers with a twist. But while Killmer is exiting this season, exactly when has yet to be revealed—”we have her for a bunch of the season,” executive producer Andrea Newman told TV Insider prior to the premiere—we doubt that she’s going...
