He's a New York City legend, at least among some of us: A small African-American man on the subway who announces that he's an alien who needs money to repair his broken-down spaceship so he can return to his home planet, who then plays screaming avant-garde jazz alto saxophone until people donate. Sometimes he's dressed in a flamboyant outfit, complete with cape, that makes him look fresh out of the Sun Ra Arkestra; sometimes he makes do with a pair of antennae wobbling on his head.
Not everybody likes screaming avant-garde jazz alto saxophone, sadly, but the thing is, the guy's actually good at it, and he's been doing it for decades. One time, post-midnight on the 1 train, I saw him get a standing ovation. On the other hand, for a while in the late '90s he was playing a smashed/crushed alto and said he'd been beat up; then,...

After finding out that he has been unexpectedly laid off from work, Jim’s day derails until he’s bordering on a complete mental break. For an odd Friday treat, check out this music video for a new song inspired by a forthcoming film adaptation of Chuck Palahniuk's novel "Lullaby." It's very simple in concept but provides a perfect, visceral metaphor for the damage romantic love is capable of and our willingness to suffer it again and again. Apparently, "Start Again" is from a new album former Starsailor singer James Walsh has written with songwriter Sacha Skarbek, and the video centers on two characters from the novel named Mona and Oyster. Tori Spelling appeared on Watch What Happens Live last night, alongside Chris Klein because time is just a state of mind, and the gleeful fame goblin Andy Cohen had her play Plead the Fifth, in which the marginally to fully famous are asked to shit-talk for sport. Cohen asked Spelling for a 90210 round of F/M/K between Brandon, Dylan, and Steve, and Spelling needed but a second to rattle off the incredibly obvious: She'd "shag" Dylan, marry Brandon, and chuck Steve. Uh, of course! At least 90 percent of people would choose that! How did this prompt not include David? Make this a little harder next time: Kelly, Brenda, Emily Valentine? Scott, Nat, Jim Walsh? Mrs. Teasley, Felice Martin, Lucinda? (Obviously F Lucinda, but whom would you marry?) Clare, Val, Janet? There are so, so many interesting 90210 F/M/K options.

The debut of Lisa Edelstein. The re-appearance of Alicia's brother. And a lot of hullabaloo over cheese.
All of this and more went down on The Good Wife this week, as Round Table panelists Matt Richenthal, Carissa Pavlica and Christine Orlando gather below to analyze "Get a Room." Won't you join them?

What was your favorite scene from the episode?
Matt: Alicia's fake jealousy. I first enjoyed her mature reaction to Will and Celeste having been an item, and then I smiled along with Alicia when they used it to their professional advantage.
Carissa: I loved Will and Alicia plotting their tactics for the case and sealing it with a sexy kiss. I really am a sucker for them together. The way it plays out at work is brilliant, and the end of the story, that everyone knew Alicia was playing them, was very well done.
