Saved by the Bell‘s Kelly Kapowski gave up on becoming a doctor when she agreed to marry Zack Morris during The College Years — a decision Tiffani Thiessen’s alter ego reevaluates during Season 2 of the Peacock revival.
Midway through Sbtb‘s sophomore run, Kelly confides in Jessie and Lisa that she’s been seeing a man — a tutor, that is, to prepare her for the McAt exam. But just a couple of episodes later, she tells Jessie that she’s having doubts. The universe clearly doesn’t want her to become a doctor — and it was fate, she says,...

Spoiler Alert: Do not read if you have not watched the second season of “Saved by the Bell,” streaming now on Peacock.
In conceptualizing her continuation series of “Saved by the Bell,” Tracey Wigfield knew there were certain things fans of the original series would be waiting to see. On the top of that list was the romantic reunion of Jessie Spano (Elizabeth Berkley Lauren) and A.C. Slater (Mario Lopez). After realizing they still had feelings for each other, they finally kissed again, 30 years in the making, in the second season finale.
“What are we doing here if Slater and Jessie aren’t going to hook up?” the showrunner says with a laugh. “When I watched the ‘90210’ reboot, I had very little personal connection to that show, but I was like, ‘When are the people who kissed 30 years ago going to kiss again?’ There’s just a part...

With a hypnotic gaze, a raspy voice and the capability to effortlessly inhabit the soul of a character, the late actor, musician and activist River Phoenix was a once-in-a-generation talent. Today, he would have turned 51 years old.
While his posthumous age can be an irrelevant number to warrant a retrospective of one of the finest ever to grace the movies — especially one year after many took the opportunity to celebrate him for his 50th birthday — any day can be an opportunity to reflect upon someone with only 14 film credits who made an undeniable impact on the cinematic art form.
A life cut far too short, Phoenix’s physical manifestation with us ended in the early hours of Halloween in 1993 outside the Los Angeles nightclub The Viper Room, then-owned by actor Johnny Depp. Present at the time was his girlfriend and “The Thing Called Love” co-star Samantha Mathis, his sister Rain...

Hotel Arthritis - Somebody is killing Old People!
Veteran star-studded film “crosses the line” in all the right ways, pushes into controversial territory of what is wrong and funny
It's not often that one is able to see a collection of iconic stars in such a different light, but Hotel Arthritis provides just that opportunity. The film finds ways to “push the boundaries” of what is wrong and what is funny by meshing the bizarre with the fun, the old with the young, and the comedy with its horror.

Check out the official trailer for Jason Lockhart’s upcoming Hotel Arthritis movie. It is not often that one is able to see a collection of iconic stars in such a different light, but Hotel Arthritis provides just that opportunity. The film finds ways to “push the boundaries” of what is wrong and what is funny by meshing the bizarre with the fun, the old with the young, and the comedy with its horror.
Hotel Arthritis is a comedy/horror ready for its cult audience about a group of retirement home residents living in fear of a masked killer who stalks the halls of their creepy home.
“The colorful characters are what drives the film in this story. We’re meant to laugh with them and at them, both through their daily routines and alongside their nightmares.”
says director, Jason Lockhart.

I'm not going to give you a number, but I'm pretty sure I fall just outside the older end of Workaholics' target demographic. So I shouldn't be surprised that most recent comedy series aimed at the dorm room set -- Adult Swim's Loiter Squad and Workaholics' schedule-mate Tosh.0 (a show I consider borderline evil) spring to mind -- leave me more than a little cold. The real shock is that Workaholics (which debuted its double-sized third season on Comedy Central Tuesday) doesn't. Creator/stars Adam DeVine, Anders Holm and Blake Anderson (along with director and recurring player Kyle Newacheck) have found a way to transcend the current state of slacker comedy by offering a sharp authorial vision, great ensemble timing, incredibly specific pop culture references and even a satirical agenda (albeit a razor-thin one).

Death has always been big on Wisteria Lane.
That became extremely apparent back in March, when former Desperate Housewives star Nicollette Sheridan took ABC Studios to court over the on-screen death of her character Edie Britt, who she said was killed off the show in retaliation for an incident the actress had with series creator Marc Cherry. One of the central questions during those proceedings was: Does Desperate Housewives actually kill off big characters like Edie? A chunk of ABC’s defense was spent trying to prove that, partly by including a video montage of all the characters that had been killed.

An all star cast of veteran actors including Rip Taylor (The Gong Show) & Martin Cove (The Karate Kid) come together for the side splitting horror of "Hotel Arthritis" (originally titled "The Old Folks Home"), directed by actor Jason Lockhart (Vampire Boys) in his directorial debut.
Somebody is killing old people. The weapon of choice: a secret. They are being offed by a masked killer who stalks the halls of the small retirement community in which they live. The story opens with a terrifying murder, creating space on the waiting list for Rose to move in. Upon Rose’s arrival, she is taken on a tour of the grounds by the quirky, offbeat manager: Dale. The odd and brightly colored characters continue to pop up as Fanny, her Jewish gossiping neighbor, introduces Rose to “the gang.” The routine of daily life is all stirred up at the moment. I am actually rather surprised at how big this Rapture prediction for May 21st has gotten. The Internet is crazy with apocalyptic material, and I'm now seeing "end of the world" happy hours and barbecues being planned for tomorrow as if giant UFOs have shown up above all the major cities and we're certain either our time has come or we're expecting a visit from mystical icons, or aliens (maybe you consider Jesus to be both). I feel everyone's acting like a mix of Kiersten Warren in "Independence Day" (see above) and the unconcerned grasshopper of the Aesop fable. And…...

Julie White and Kiersten Warren are set to join the cast of ABC's dramedy Desperate Housewives as recurrings. Their characters will be introduced in the campy mystery series' second-season finale May 21 and are described as "pivotal" to the show's story lines next season. White's character will have a connection to Orson (Kyle MacLachlan), while Warren's character will be a wrench in Lynette (Felicity Huffman) and Tom's (Doug Savant) marriage. White most recently completed filming supporting roles in the features Michael Clayton and The Astronaut Farmer and goes into production on The Nanny Diaries next month and Michael Bay's Prime Directive in July. The actress recently won the Village Voice Obie Award for her work in the off-Broadway play The Little Dog Laughed, which also earned her a Drama Desk nomination.
