- Allen Watt was born on April 4, 1885 in Pennsylvania, USA. He was a director and actor, known for The Marquis and Miss Sally (1918), The Widow Dangerous (1918) and His Beach of Promise (1920). He was married to Myrtle Gonzalez. He died on September 15, 1944 in Los Angeles, California, USA.

- Met and later married actress Myrtle Gonzalez on the Universal lot. A Captain in the U.S. Army, Myrtle returned with him to Camp Lewis, in Washington state. Her health (a heart ailment), however, was too frail for the climate, however, and he was placed on the retirement list so he could return with her to Southern California. He eventually went back to work at Universal and began directing. Myrtle was one of millions who died in late 1918 from the "Spanish flu" pandemic.
