After graduating from Oxford, Wren worked as a sailor, boxer, costermonger, schoolmaster, collage principal, journalist, explorer and hunter.
Served in the French Foreign Legion, the English cavalry and as an officer with the Indian defense force as assistant director of education.
Descendent of famed 17th century English architect, Christopher Wren.
British romantic adventure novelist, best known for "Beau Geste" (1924) and "Beau Sabreur" (1926).
